I?m baffled by the 4.5 star rating. Between hostile service and cold tasteless apps, though some of the food was satisfactory,... we had a pretty poor experience. We arrived at 7:30 where the close time on this maps app is 9 pm. With nobody dining, we weretold ?we close at 8:30?. I guess we should have taken the hint they didn?t want us eating there. The satay was cold rubberytasteless chicken (I think it was chicken). The egg drop soup my mother ordered was not hot and smelled strange, like it sat ina rusty pot. The egg rolls were poor quality and barely warm. There was no tofu, and when my mom wanted a Tom Yum for herself, apparently I got the last one. There were some good points, the Tom yum was hot and flavorful, the fried rice was decent and myparents said the pad Thai was good. If you want to be a take out restaurant only then just make it so. Don?t give your patrons adismal dinner as punishment for wanting to dine. Read more

This is our favorite Thai place. We placed an order Friday night, and we received the best customer service. They were short... handed and called to let me know us know the order would be delayed. And then discovered one of the items we requested was notavailable. They called again and even suggested an alternate choice. We received everything and it was amazing! Read more

Not a fan of anything Asian. My husband loves this kind of food. It was a night he got to choose. Our first time here. Husband... ordered chicken fried rice. I ordered Pad Thi. We shared crab wontons. It is all very good. Brought to our car nice and hot. Itwill be our ?go to? place. Read more

Worked here for years back in the day with Penn. Came back recently after being out of state for many years. New ownership as... Penn retired, and I left around the same time. Anyway, the food is pretty damn close to the same. It's great. And they stillhave her cheerful photos across the tables - many of which I took. The menu is the same, thankfully. The new owner is doing agood job. Read more

Under new ownership since last fall, Penn?s Thai Kitchen continues to satisfy the craving for fresh Thai dishes. Tonight I had... the Pad Ped Chicken, medium-spice with Thai curry, bamboo shoots, bell peppers and eggplant and rice. Enough for two meals, butI couldn?t help myself. At the NW corner of Crooks and 14 Mile Road. Read more
