Heard good things about this place. Good food, especially the Greek salad with the special dressing. I just ordered a large... dressing and pita bread. I asked for the price this was a takeout. The young lady was very polite but explain when she came backthat they were out of feta cheese for the Greek salad. I was shocked. How do you run out of a main ingredient for the Greeksalad. There?s a market like two blocks away where they could buy feta cheese. Very disappointed. Really wanted to try it. Read more
Although they seemed short handed the young staff did a fairly good job. Staff all seemed pleasant and polished. Food is very... good. Never a fan however of places that automatically add gratuity. Ate here on Sunday (4-24-22), used our Downtown Royal Oak dollars to cover our bill (brother and myself). Tried the frickles,... queso and Roth poutine.. was rather tasty with the queso and poutine. The food is decent nothing spectacular. The atmosphere is very nice friendly staff and owner. Nice options on their drink menu.
I love waiters? energetic and friendly that they have to make sure we are satisfied with our appetizers and meal. The price is... reasonable for a big portion! Highly recommended! There was one server on for the entire restaurant. We had a friend of the owner that was trying to help very nice person but not... a waiter. The food was cold and mediocre at best. They should have stayed a Coney Island and they would have done much betterthan this. There were two tables besides us in the restaurant. I see a for rent sign in the future for this place.
