They're allowing homeless people to sit inside the store. These people aren't buying anything. Some holler, some cough... uncontrollably and others have stains on their clothes which are between their legs. It's a very unsafe and unsanitarysituation. Read more

I mean I walked in at 7:45 and did not leave until 8:20 waiting for one drink. It's literally nobody else in here that ordered.... They're just standing behind the counter cleaning instead of making my drink. Literally my whole break is over can't believe howslow they are Read more

So I've been to Starbucks all over the world, in multiple countries and, of course, multiple states in the US. I'm one of... those "experience-centric" customers that Starbucks has worked for so many years to cultivate. For me, it isn't the cup ofcoffee, but rather, it's the pleasant staff that keeps me coming back. No matter where you are in the world, you're *almostalways* guaranteed to have a nice, friendly interaction. Starbucks in Royal Oak really puts the "almost" in "almostalways". Ive been there a dozen times in the last 3 months, to make sure my negative encounter wasn't just a one-off. Indeed, several interactions were soiled by the sour baristas. Almost every time, I walked up to the counter expecting to be greeted, and was met with an icey stare. About half the time they eeked out a greeting, but the other half, I asked "how are youdoing?". In most cases, their uptight staff replied with a short "Good" failing to return my polite gesture. Oh, and let's notforget what happened once my drink was ready. "Dan". NY name was called in the same scolding tone used by disgruntled elementaryschool teachers. No "thank you", "enjoy your drink", or even "your drink is ready". Just a drink, served cold. In fact, I wasthe one who regrettably thanked them instead. Fire these disillusioned toxic worms and hire staff with pleasant personalities,or teach them how to interact with humans before you make the Starbucks experience feel like a punishment. Read more

Lately I have been trying different types of drinks each time I go to Starbucks. This time I tried the Caramel Frappuccino... Blended Coffee, and it will be my last time ordering it too. This drink was so ridiculously sweet to the point that I only hadabout 1/4 of it and I could not commit to anymore of it. This drink was overkill because it tasted like sugar topped withcaramel. It tasted like there was very little to no coffee Read more

I've always had a good experience at this location. It can get pretty packed on weekends but during the weeks it's a nice place... to come and get some work done. They have a little fireplace which is especially nice in the winter time. The baristas arealways friendly and quick at making drinks Read more
