I wanna start off by saying I absolutely love California tortilla.. Ever since the ?Covid pandemic?, the sauce has been... extremely scarce and these shelves were bare. This location has been freshly stocked with hot sauce. Today the food tastedbetter than it?s ever have at this location. My chicken enchilada bowl was packed and you could actually see the cheese on thechicken taco. The staff was all very polite, worked quickly and our meal was absolutely delicious. Thank you CaliforniaTortilla. ?????????? Read more

Food wasn't bad, overpriced for what you get. The restaurant on the other hand was filthy. Can't see how it passed a health... inspection. Walls were filthy, seats had huge rips in them. Ghetto would be an improvement. Read more

First time there was today. The food was very good & fresh. The dining area was filthy. The tables. The floors. Everything was... sticky and dirty. It needs a good cleaning. Like a deep cleaning ! Read more

I haven?t been here in around 6 months.I went here Saturday evening and ordered my usual order for the past 6 years. It was... disgusting and old chicken in my kids chicken quesadillas (tasted nasty). My $9-$10 spinach bean quesadilla was gross, it lookeda mess and anything but fresh. Total waste of money. I was disgusted how dirty the dining room was. This place has really gonedownhill. No one wants to pay $10 for something that is not fresh. Read more

Staff was very nice and accommodating of our dietary restrictions. Food was fresh and delicious and portions were generous. I... was happy to see the bowls seemed to be compostable. Tables were clean but the store looked like it needed a good cleaning(doors and knobs were dirty, soda touch screen felt dirty, etc.). If you want the scoop on bringing your small children, here itis: my kiddo loved her quesadilla but the queso was too spicy for her. They had several high chairs and the first one we grabbedhad working buckles! (Rare in restaurants these days) The high chair definitely wasn't clean, though. There was a changing tablein the ladies' room. And my kids found the music made them want to dance ???? Great experience overall! Read more

I routinely visit this location, usually for take out but we decided to dine in on our most recent visit. The staff are all... friendly and the food preparation is prompt. I am a big fan of the screamin' burritos, can't go wrong with them in my opinion. Read more

I come here regularly and am a big fan of the food. However, that has all changed, because today I saw a piece of plastic in my... fajita burrito. Thank God I wasn?t injured or choked on this, and the second I brought it back in, I received horrendouscustomer service and at first they didn?t believe something like this had happened. Needless to say, I got my money back, walkedout, and will never be going back to this establishment in my life, until they learn how to not put plastic in my food, andtreat customers with respect. Classless. Read more

*I'm going to preface this review with the fact that we came here around an hour before closing. This could affect the quality... of the food we were served, and so you should keep that in mind as you are reading this review. Looking at other reviews, thisplace seems to be really good, so when we arrived may have been what caused things to lack. * Overall, the food was o-k. TheCalifornia Screamin' Burrito I ordered had blackened chicken in it, which to me was simply slightly overcooked chicken. It feltlike it was doused in barbeque sauce, although it was supposed to be queso. The Sunset Bowl we ordered specified avocado slices, but there was none. Surprisingly, the chips and guacamole were the only 5 star worthy item we received: it was really good. Wedecided to check the "Wall of Sauces" to spice up our food. We saw the "Endorphin Rush", the spiciest sauce available, and ifyou no longer wish to taste your food anymore (as your tongue will be too numb to taste anything), knock yourself out. We didn'ttry any other sauces, so I cannot tell you how the others were compared to this. The seating arrangement was fine, but itwasn't very clean. The bathroom was better, though. Overall, this place is okay, and it's possible that certain factorscontributed to our subpar experience. The price is around the same as Chipotle, and California Tortilla manages to give moreflexibility and more options to the table, as well as better chips and guac. However, I don't think the quality stacks up to thecompetitors from my experience. Maybe giving them another shot during the day could change my opinion, but for now, I'd still goto Chipotle.
