We legit stopped on a whim om our way to Shady Maple Smorgasbord. Fantastic! All we had was beers but the selection, staff,... environtment and vibe was fantastic. They have a huge wall of craft cans and a ton of wonderful selections on draft. Their staffwas instantly friendly and attentive and treated us like we were regulars. Stopped here for a late lunch. The food was high quality & very tasty, the portions were substantial, and the overall experience... was good. We got an order of poutine-tasty but hardly any curds, a salad with chicken- good flavor balancing but the chickenwasn't really trimmed or pounded to tenderize, and a pub burger with a bunch of fixins & side salad- very tasty over all, butthe burger was a bit overcooked & the salad was just a lettuce blend with a very sweet dressing- we were not asked what kind ofdressing or condiments we wanted. All in all the food was tasty & high quality but there was definitely an air of 'you get itthe way we prepare it' and not really a 'we'll prepare it the way you want it'. Read more
