So glad we came here! We are in this plaza all the time but never tried Saku. On this particular day, we decided to give it a... try since it's so close to home and our reservations elsewhere didn't work out. We had a party of four which included our twoteen children who are very particular about sushi. This was a winner for sure! We've tried the other Japanese restaurants inthe area and while they are pretty good, Saku is great! Their prices are affordable, their staff is gracious and another bigplus is they are BYOB. We had the pleasure of meeting Andy. He was happy & friendly. We enjoyed our time here very much andwill surely be back! Thanks Andy, staff and Itamae's at Saku. Read more

We went to Saku for dinner on a Friday evening. The food was ok but not particularly great. The customer service was poor at... best. The restaurant manager greeted and stopped by the tables of all the patrons except our table. He also said goodbye to allthe patrons departing the restaurant. When I asked him why our party of 2 did not receive the same courtesy as all the others hewas silent. He did not offer any explanation nor apology for his abysmal behavior. Our family previously ordered takeout fromthis restaurant several times during the pandemic and did not complain the time they accidentally gave our order to anothercustomer. It is extremely disappointing that this restaurant does not treat all their customers with an equal level of serviceespecially from a manager who is a person of color. Read more

1. ordered sweet potato roll, veggie egg rolls, kids chicken teriyaki 2. the sushi tasted so off.. like fishy?? I don?t know I... could not eat it 3. egg rolls were okay! 4. chicken teryaki was soooooo good but it came w fries bc it was a kids meal and thefries tasted so off! 5. owner is so nice! The flavors were on point! So yummy. Their miso was fantastic and their sweet potato roll, OH and the hibachi. Overall yummy... flavors. It?s a very tiny indoor restaurant but that?s super deceiving cause it?s amazing! Read more

Myself & a few co-workers ordered the sushi rolls lunch special. Once we picked it up & got it back to the office, we noticed... that one person's order was missing completely. We called, confirmed again the 2 rolls in that order, & was told they would haveit ready. I then had to run to the restaurant to pick up- which wasn't a problem. The gentleman was very nice & handed me myorder & apologized. The food was given to me in a stapled brown paper bag & then that was in a white grocery bag...which is morethan fine...just making the point that peeking into the bag to check the order wasn't really an option. When I got back to theoffice & looked...both of my rolls were wrong!! I ordered a salmon avocado roll, but I got just salmon & I ordered an eel &avocado roll, but got a sweet potato roll. Tried to call twice & no one answers the phone. Very disappointing. Probably won't beordering from here again. Read more

Not a huge fan of sushi but the wife was craving it, she's pregnant after all. She found this place yesterday, so we ordered... take out via their website. I must say the food was delicious, staff was amazing and very friendly, I can't say enough aboutthis place, one day we will eat in which I'm sure will be an amazing experience but it was so good we're headed back for moretoday! Visited this restaurant yesterday for the second time. We came here during dinner time around 7:30ish I believe and there was... only one other table. Hardly anyone in there. That could possibly be due to Covid but yes, they are open for dine in. Myexperience here this time was alright, not the best but not the worst. First they had a non-updated menu given out to theircustomers. The menu said kids meal comes with salad, rice, and vegetables. But the waitress later tells me that menu is notupdated. They dont have that offered anymore. But I bring up the fact that it?s on the menu and that I already told the kids,the waitress said she will provide that for the kids. In my opinion, if you didn?t have the menu reprint with the updates, atleast cross out what you wont be including in the meal so customers wont expect those for the price they pay for. Secondly,there was some dirty stuff on the stack of clean plates the waitress gave us. This wasn?t much of an issue cause she justchanged that for me. After eating from other different Japanese restaurants, this one is only so so, not the best one. Thesushi was ok. I ordered takoyaki (have eaten much better ones), hamachi kama (quite small but not bad), salmon avocado handroll, sexy lady roll, naruto roll, and a kid?s teriyaki steak meal with miso soup. My friend and her family didn?t enjoy theirfood much. Maybe not a place for us to come back for the price and quality we get, but the service wasn?t too bad overall. Read more
