Ridiculous. No carhops anymore. Not sure how long they will justify that with labor shortage. Then they are cash for only a lot... of the time these days. Like they are the only ones who can't get an electronic pay system to work. Then act like "well wetried". They have incompetent managers and it shows daily. Gooduck. My wife and I went to this Sonic at about 8:00 PM. Most of the lights were off and all of the pull-in sites were empty and... dark. There was a line for the drive through all of the way out into the street. We got in line and I proceeded to phone themand inquire what was going on. I was told that they did not have enough workers to keep the pull-in sites running and therewere only two workers trying to handle the drive through. They were taking and filling orders one car at a time. After sittingthere for about 15 minutes only two cars had made through the line. We gave up and pulled out. This is just a sad commentary onour current times when you can't find enough workers to keep your business running. I hold the drive-in blameless. But itdoesn't change the fact that the customers will suffer, become frustrated, and quit patronizing your business. Read more

NEVER GO TO THIS SONIC..EVER!!! Ordered and paid on the app. Upon arrival found parking bays were not available due to staffing... shortage. The drive-thru was 10 cars deep. I called the restaurant and told them I was there for online pickup. I was told topull up to the front door and then nobody came out to bring my order. I had to open the kitchen door to get my food. My Spritewas nothing but carbonated water and my fries were cold and rubbery. Tried calling the restaurant again to complain and thephone is off the hook. This Sonic should be shut down!!!!! Two trip attempts. We give. No car hops. All bays closed. Only drive thru. 4pm on Sunday, 10 cars backed up into the street.... Tried again Monday at 10:18..order window said opens at 10am?then drive thru windows says open at 11am. Why not just shut? rdown? Read more

I ordered food through the app for two people (double bacon cheeseburger combo and grilled chicken combo) and it took 30 minutes... to receive my order. Furthermore, I received a (not-so) crispy chicken sandwich although I paid for a grilled chicken sandwich.When I contacted Sonic about this, their response was "Thank you for telling us about your experience. We are sorry yourexperience was not satisfactory. We will work harder to provide a more satisfactory experience." This tells me that theirresponse is an automated response. There is a significant monetary difference between a crispy chicken sandwich and a grilledchicken sandwich, and for you to not acknowledge that nor try to rectify that issue is a BIG problem.
