Perfect foods are all about tastes and textures and The Village Buttery takes everyday foods to a whole new level!!! Savory,... mouthwatering, delicious..the adjectives don't do them real justice. We drove over 400 miles from Texas to eat here and wellworth every single mile. We can't wait to return. You owe it to yourself to eat here when in Ruidoso. Soooo delicious. I ordered the turkey sandwich combo with tomato basil soup. Everything was so yummy. Will definitely be back!!... The outdoor seating is really cute and the scenery is beautiful. 100% recommend to anyone visiting and wanting to eat somethinggood and not very expensive. Read more
I've been eating at The Buttery for 20 years and it never disappoints. Every time we visit Ruidoso we eat lunch here at least... every other day. The soups, salads, sandwiches, and desserts are absolutely fabulous! Read more
Great food and service. I am slowly working my way through everything on the menu and, so far, everything has been tasty. I... would recommend some tweaking to the Wedding Soup. Perhaps add a little bit of celery salt, carrots, and shredded chicken.That's how we make it back in Ohio. Either way, still the best place in town to get soups and sandwiches. Read more
All the times I've gone to Ruidoso I never knew this little place existed. Amazing service, amazing food! Dog friendly patio, I... had my huskies and we sat in the back corner and the lady offered them water. The food was exceptional the quiche wasexcellent! We decided to each get a different cheesecake to try. My mom got the blueberry cheesecake my husband got the regularand I got a key lime pie. All three of these were very delicious!
