Having read through the reviews that the owners and the "Old Lady" behind the counter being rude and unfriendly, I was worried. ... Totally different experience. The "Old Lady" was awesome !!! Their cherry syrup is great in iced tea. They have tasty ethnic foods.
Went to get farmers cheese....ended up buying all they had...3&1/2 lbs. I usually buy the 3 lb. logs but they were out. They... won't be in till next week. I usually buy 2 or 3 of them when we are making perogies. Love this place though....best kilbasaaround. It's a bit of a drive but so worth it. Love that they speak polish...I don't understand a word of it. LOL Read more
Small store but I love the get some items that I used to eat as a kid. Love the older lady at the counter too, everytime I come... with my son she gives him a free lollipop! Read more
Keilbasa and perogies were good but I have to agree about the old hag at the counter. What a grumpy person. Perhaps we should... write reviews in polish or ukranian so she can read it. Maybe she just doesn't care. Read more
Nothing to write home about. Very small store. Owners/workers are not friendly and in fact kind of rude. No prices on most of... goods. Aside from the fresh kielbasi you can probably skip the rest. Was disappointed in the amount of fresh/prepared foodsand desserts. Pierogies were frozen and so where the potatoes pancakes. No prices until you get up to the register and they were$9 for twelve pierogies and $12 for six potato pancakes. Should have made the trip to Philly and gone to Cwerz. Read more
Incredible selection of dry pantry goods and great quality fresh meats and cheeses. There's also a variety of delicious,... homemade frozen foods. For sure the best around. The staff are friendly even during the busy holiday season when they areoverrun with people and orders. Read more
Best selection of Polish meats & groceries this side of the Delaware River. Friendly service too.
