Nice little 9 hole course. A couple of the holes are pretty short (one is only 86 yards), but most are reasonable par 3 or 4... holes. It was $13 to walk the course. They have pull carts and regular carts, but I didn't check prices for them. There isalso a small grill and a driving range. Read more

My husband and I are learning how to play golf. This morning we played our first 9 holes ever at Southern Meadows. Course was... tidy, easy to walk and the layout is straightforward. Took us an hour and twenty minutes to complete the course playing bestball. We'll definitely be back and hope to play a little better each time. :) Read more

Great spot, the hospitality is fantastic. The course is in immaculate condition at all times. In addition if you need lessons... see Mike Clawson, PGA Pro. I immediately saw positive results after one lesson. He's also great with the little ones, my 5yr oldis taking lessons from him and it's working out great. Read more

I was traveling through the area with my wife and stopped in for a quick 9-hole round on July 21, 2018;; the round played quick... as there weren?t any golfers in the later morning on a Saturday which was surprising to me; a ladies outing had played earlieras there were numerous tables with 3-4 ladies who had apparently already played which may explain the lack of golfersthereafter; I found the course online with GolfNow and stopped in to check the possibility of getting a single out and found theonline rate ($20/cart) was more than the course rate ($19/cart), and then I was also charged the cart fee for my wife to ridewith me which I know is a procedure at various courses throughout the states I have played in; the course was in very poorcondition (tee boxes, fairways, & greens), and I feel the green fee should have been discounted due to the poor conditions or Ifeel I should not have been charged the cart fee for my wife. Course conditions were deplorable: 1) tee boxes were hard andlacked grass; most were spotty green patches that did not receive tees very easily 2) fairways were yellow or lacked grass, hard, and lacked water; I hit a few feet to the right of the 15O-yard marker in the middle of the #5 fairway and saw a puff ofdust pop up and then found my ball off the left of the fairway in the short, dry, crispy rough about 95 yards out; I moved theball onto green vegetation (not necessarily grass) in almost each of the five par-4 fairways; shots from the fairway required meto play carefully so as not to blade my ball because of the hard conditions; needless to say, there were no divots taken in anyfairway 3) greens were for the most part green grass, but several lacked grass throughout the green; on the #4 par-3 green whichI hit off the tee, I had to putt through a dry, splotchy area that was approximately 10 feet by 6 feet wide which made itdifficult to judge the birdie putt for speed and line; I only had to repair one ball (#9 green) mark despite m Read more
