Good, fresh food, lite and tasty didn't want a heavy meal on roadtrip. Dining area closed, but steady flow of customers social... distancing in line. These 2 ladies were frustrated they were so busy (on a Thursday night) people kept coming in to order, butwith 4.3 stars I thought it was better to stop here in Rusk on our way to Beaumont since Jacksonville only 3.7 stars. Two young people behind the counter. One employee stocking in the dining/chip display area, and one in the rear area. I was not... greeted when I entered by any of the four employees. I waited until the young man making a sandwich got it in the toaster, hetook my order, got my bowl of soup and passed me to the young woman at the register.There was no one else ordering. There was acustomer checking out. He had been there since I walked in and still had not completed the transaction because the cashier wasgiggling and flirting with him and incorrectly chose debit instead of credit. I waited another several minutes for the youngwoman to complete the customers transaction. She handed me a receipt and turned back to her co-worker. I said thank you as shewalked away. ???? Read more
Very clean location! Employees are attentive and quick to fulfill both online and in-store orders. If they are delayed, they are... reassuring and apologetic. Great customer service. I especially admired Kristy's customer service skills. Thank you for adelicious sandwich, Kristy!! Read more
This place is usually pretty good. Staff turnover rate is very high so there's always a good chance you're going to get someone... brand-new behind the counter . and the manager can be somewhat less than friendly but the sandwiches are delicious and theservice is fast . Rusk has limited take out options so Subway gets to be dead last on the list, for good reason. Food for the most part is good (... only when they have it in stock), the problem is staff and cleanliness. We particularly have issue with a woman who seems to bea manager, or shift lead etc. She is rude to everyone, she's kind of shorter, glasses, light brownish/blonde hair I think shedye color streaks. She hates customers and all workers. She berates them in front of customers. They don't look happy-ish.Also, the store is kinda dirty, floors, rugs, the counter holding food. They are never super busy....The other employees aregood, with exception of the one lady. Read more
