This was our first time in Denny?s since it reopened. The place looks great with fresh seating, new decor and an overall nice... clean look. The food was delicious. I tried the California Club sandwich and was so happy with my selection. The wheat bread wastoasted perfectly, bacon was crunchy without being burned, meat and lettuce was cool, the avocado was fresh and green, and theMayo added a tiny burst of added flavor and moisture. The seasoned French fries were steaming hot, crisp on the outside withsoft centers. The whole meal was delightful! My husband ordered the Lumberjack Slam which came with a little of everything.Again, the bacon was crisp not burned, eggs were moist without being runny, the hash-browns needed cooked a little longer andlacked the desired crunch that was expected, the ham, sausage, and pancakes were good. His review is that the meal was?fine?. I gave this 3 stars because of the service. I was very grateful they were open at 8:30pm on the Saturday afterHurricane Ian came through. I was very surprised to be informed they are open 24hours. I know everyone is exhausted after goingthrough the hurricane and I was grateful they came to work that day to feed us after a long day of cleanup and repairs. Myproblem is that the restaurant really wasn?t that busy and they were neglectful for extremely long periods of time that couldnot be accounted for by the number of guests and the seemingly sufficient staff present. We waited over 10 minutes to be sat, noone was in front of use and only 6 tables had guests. We waited over 20 minutes for our drinks and meal order to be taken, thiswas after I waved the server down. The food came out quickly after the order was put in, 15 minutes max, but then it was almost30 minutes before we were checked on again by our server. Love my local Denny?s! The staff is always so friendly and kind. The food has always been delicious and affordable! Kids even... eat FREE every Tuesday 4-10pm (even better for our family of 6! This makes dining out super affordable for those on a budget).And even on any other night, the prices are very reasonable and the kids meals are even cheaper/close to McDonalds prices. Mykids loved the birthday cake pancakes, and my oldest son?s favorite is the ?salted Carmel banana pancakes? (while no longer onthe menu, they were still able to make it). So good! My husband got a skillet and I got a steak dinner. Everything wasincredible, and best of all we fed our entire family for less than $40. Will definitely be back. Read more
I went 4 a late lunch. It was about 2p.m Was seated right away. Had a waiter! Very nice young man. Took my order,which I also... ordered a dessert 2 go. He waited till I was almost done n brought the dessert w the check. He remembered!! Food was great...asin my experience it always is!! Read more
