I really wanted to like this place but the food is sub par at best but on top of that it's ridiculously over priced.

First place I have been that sells MUSHROOMS in three different sizes. The medium size is a far share for one person, but wish... I'd have gotten the large. Not only were they fairly decent and I happen to love MUSHROOMS! I felt like the place was a mix ofArby's and a hamburger shop. I ordered a Roast Beef sandwich. I had no idea what would be on it. I was thinking that I would beoffered sauce at pick up window, (Arby's? ). I forgot to ask. Was very surprised to learn that it had all the ingredients fora Big Mac. There was no information displayed or given of what would be on the sandwich. Not bad, but not my cup of tea. Iordered a Double Peanut Butter shake. Very thankful that I ordered a small. Double the peanut butter was like DOUBLE the CheepPowder Taste. NASTY!! I was visiting family nearby and happened upon Rancher's at Indian Lake. Didn't appear that they had beenin business there long. Their Indoor Dining Room was still closed and looked un organized. I know less than two years becausethey weren't there when I was in town the last time. If I stop the next time I am that way, I recommend, and I will ordersomething completely different. Went here once, only my daughter ate. She was sick a few hours later and we otherwise ate the same meals throughout the day... prior and the day before. Never went back. Read more
Edit: I have since returned to Ranchers twice. Again, the staff is friendly and the service is adequate. I tried both the fish... sandwich and a burger. They were both just ok. The cheese curds are good. But cost an arm and a leg (about $10 for a large if Iremember correctly?). Overall, I feel like the food here is just average at best. For me, their prices don't come close tojustifying me coming back again. Sorry Ranchers. Wide variety on the menu, including sides. Sandwiches are assembled very well(not messy). Unfortunately I did not care for the taste of the roast beef at all. Did not finish either sandwich I got. Alsoseemed very pricey to me. The staff was very friendly. I want to like this place. I would come back to try a sandwich thatdoesn't have roast beef on it, and hopefully I will like it. Read more
I went through the drive thru and ordered a roast beef sandwich and a CURLY fry, i got a regular fry instead, so i went through... again and was very nice about it, i wasn?t mad at all. She then said that he repeated what i said when he never did, and made methink i was wrong, even if i was, the customer is always right in fast food it doesn?t matter, she then corrected what I said,with a very bad attitude. Very high price French fries undercooked , beef smelled funky. Thought I'd try and hope better then Bellfountain. Now I... understand why they left and never had cars therd in line. I will stick to McDonald's better price and takes no extra charge oncredit cards. Read more
This is what the breakfast sandwich is. I have tried the restaurant 3 times to give a fair review. The staff is very friendly.... But the food is not worth the money spent. I have ordered the spiral fries twice (large), and they were very good, but a largeis a small?? I have got the fish sandwich and it was NOT good.
