Donut go there. They definitely donut know how to make donuts. I ordered a chocolate dipped donut. What I received was a round... ring of dough about as thick as pizza crust, that tasted like a two day old Pillsbury crescent roll with fresh, warm chocolatesauce dripping off of it. It ended up in the trash can across the road as I don't feel that wildlife would enjoy it anymorethan I did. Read more

I'm not sure what the line is about, other than it's the only place to get donuts in town. I got two donuts and asked for each... to be put in a separate bag. They did that but they were icing side down. Which ended up not being a total disaster, because theicing was so sickeningly sweet, so sweet I washed off instead of licking my finger after I smeared it back on. Not impressed sofar, I go ahead and take a bite (I did just spend $2 for a pretty skinny Long John). The dough was chewy and the grease it wasfried in tasted older than McDonald's fries on a bad day. Great place if you're on a diet and want to say you bought a donutand didn't eat it. Otherwise, take the drive to Kroger in Bellefontaine for your craving. Read more

Have driven by many times while visiting the area... and so with the very strong suggestion from my son, we stopped by. Service... was very friendly. They make their own donuts, but they serve ice cream from Homemade Ice Cream (very popular). I am givingthem five stars because it is good to visit and support local business. This is a staple at Indian Lake and a must visit if you are in the area. All the donuts are great and they definitely make one... of the best long John?s around (I love the maple icing). If you go during the weekend you will definitely find a line but itmoves pretty quickly and the wait is worth it. The nice thing is you can get here by car or boat, so there is no excuse not togo. I always look forward to getting a donut during a summer weekend up at Indian Lake. Read more
