Home town food at a decent price. The tea was so good and I walked away full.
Food was hot and delicious, i ate off the hot bar.. fastest service I've had in a restaurant before. I was in and out in less... than 20 minutes with more food than I could eat on my plate and paid less than I would had I went to any other place inRusselville. 1st let me say.. do not put hand sanitizer on your hands before eating the smoked chicken...you can not eat that with a fork.... Aside from that this was my 1st time eating here and will be back... yall wrecked my diet...my plate felt like a brick carryingit in to work to eat.. they do not skimp on the food at all.. I was expecting the usual chicken leg.. hunny this chicken donesquats and was the guardian of all chicken kind.. the flavor was exquisite ???? the okra was warm and crisp to perfection and Igot my favorite little burnt peice . Amazing... do I even need to go on? Of course I do the Mac and cheese yall.... they usedcheese from heaven or something I'm convinced christ blessed this food ... thir sweet tea is off the chain too ... I came here when they first opened and the cigarette smoke was way too much for me and I didn't go back. I am glad my mother... twisted my arm to try it again. The food was yummy and no smoke inside. I had the smoked chicken w/ green beans, black eye peas,and peach dump cake. I cleaned my plate. I recommend trying this place even if you have in the past. If you liked Kelly'sKitchen that closed you will enjoy Hiltop. Service was fantastic and friendly. You walk in get your meat and 3(2) then pay andsit.
