Was so very disappointed. Ordered a choose 2 one of the two was cheddar broccoli soup, I know soup is not thick but this was so... thinned down it was nearly water and had little taste. Another part of my order not a choose two had Mac & cheese for a side itwas about two tablespoons. I know everything has gone up but should not be like this. After 2 years we decided to give it another try. 5 people in the kitchen, 5 behind the counter including a shift manager, and... only 1 girl doing the register for walk in customers. So needless to say we waited for a few minutes, and the food was OK. Stillno better than pre-Covid. Read more
The shift leader today came off impatient and rude to us. I?ve never been treated that way at this location before. We came in... and waited in line and she called us over. I don?t know if she wasn?t speaking loudly enough or if I wasn?t, but she blamed meand it felt like shaming. You don?t talk to customers like that. I was polite and kind and even tried to make jokes out of itbut she wasn?t having it. She got my friends drink wrong first. She brought two teas. I smiled and said we ordered a diet Dr.Pepper, and instead of saying oh I?m sorry, she says, I asked you and you said two teas. I don?t remember saying that, not surewhy I would have as we both ordered our own drinks, but I made a joke of it and apologized. I then waited for my receipt andwhen she didn?t present it, I asked if I could have it as this was a business lunch. Again, she says, I asked you and you saidyou didn?t want it. She seemed frustrated and flustered and printed me another receipt. I again tried to make a joke of it. Wehad ordered two bread bowls and when the order came out it was in regular bowls with crackers. No big deal, I let the nice redhaired lady who brought it to us know it was a mistake. Sure enough, this shift leader comes over looking upset and like she isready to tell me off. She says, you?ll have to pay for that, I asked you if you wanted bowls or bread bowls. She hadn?t and wehad ordered bread bowls. I said, that?s fine, I can pay for it. So I go up to the counter to pay and she is grumpy and lookingfor a way to charge me for the bread bowls and can?t figure it out. I suggest maybe finding something similar priced and shesays she is looking. After a few minutes she gives up and gets our bowls for us and I say, I can pay for two cookies if thathelps. I love this restaurant with my entire being. It allows me to feel like I'm back I'm the city and I feel so at home. My children... love the available options and the Mac and cheese is superb.
