First and last. It was terrible. The food was not good. Ordered a salad and asked for Caesar dressing....got mayo instead. So... wrapped up in conversation I didn't notice until I put it on and took a bite. Barf! The service wasn't good either. We came from out of state so we obviously have never been here. It was fantastic! Our waitress Erica was so amazing! She gave us... pointers on what was the best off the menu. Ordered takeout. The loaded nachos were served with a cheese dip, not what I expect from a restaurant. Typically cheese is... melted on top of nachos, not served with cheese whiz. Meatball sub was awful. Meatballs were hard and flavorless. 12inch camewith 4 small meatballs. A lot of bread for 4 small meatballs. Subway has a better meatball sub for a fraction of thecost. Will not go back or order again. Spent over $60 on dinner and would have had a more satisfying meal from McDonald’s. Read more
This place is fantastic! Atmosphere is welcoming and chill but the staff is what really makes the experience worth it. Our... waitress, Erika, knew what she was doing and what she was talking about, and you can tell making her customers happy is her mainpriority. She will definitely be requested on our next visit. Food is great, some italian classics and some twists, andconsidering the quality and the quantity, the price is reasonable. We are fortunate to have this place close to home. They offer seating at the bar or in there dining room. There menu choices are many. They do have a gluten free selection for... most of there entrees. I ordered there big squeal burger without the deep fried onion or the bun, when it arrived the firstthing I noticed was the onion ring. I removed it. Not a problem, and let me tell you, it was one of the best burgers I’veeaten in a long time. Also enjoyed there Greek salad. All there portions were very generous. My best girl ordered thecauliflower crust (gf) pizza with bbq chicken. She felt the bbq sauce’s flavor was very rich and that it should not have beenapplied so thickly. Less is more. No where on the menu was there any mention of an up charge for the crust she chose. It simplystates cauliflower pizza $12. So she ordered the cauliflower pizza, with bbq chicken and nothing was said about an extra $4.00charge for the crust. we paid the bill but thought that they should have explained that at the time of ordering. This is usually one of my favorite places. The last 3 times we've ordered our order from them something was missing or wrong.... So we decided to eat in after church. It was. AWFUL ???? My food came out dead cold and wrong. The pizza was burnt. I'm sodisappointed at our last few visits I think I'm done eating there. It was $100 for cold dead food. I don't think we'll go thereagain which is too bead because they used to be so good. Read more
I happened to go on a beautiful day with the kids, but decided to eat indoors instead of put on their patio. We were greeted by... the very friendly hostess, and had a waitress who was just as friendly. The old time log cabin ambiance was great, and theplace was clean throughout. Wide variety of options on the menu for your taste. Definitely worth stopping in for a bite if youget the chance. Read more
The best Italian in Caroline! Since their opening, I've only visited The Timbers 4-5 times over a 10 year period and what has... suprised me is that the service and food have been consistently above the bar. We got the large calzone which was a heartyserving stuffed with fantastic ricotta and mozzarella. We were happily stuffed as I basted each bite in some of the best Italiansauce I've had! ???????? (Sicilian?) Yum! More offers to bring people back in may prove wise as their service and food are spoton. ???? Erica our server was attentive, accurate, quick with drinks and the food order, missed nothing and was alwaysfriendly. She also packaged up our to-go food, Wow! I love it when servers do this. It is so accommodating and provides a simplebut powerful service signature to the night. I'd like to see the smoking area separated from the outdoor dining so guests andsmokers can both have an area to enjoy. We opted in for the chocolate canolli and in house made tiramisu which was a smartdecision because we cleared the plate easily. So good!
