Update: I have been going to Beijing Hotpot almost every week since I wrote above review. I loved the place. The owner (I am... not sure he was the owner) was great, the service was not the best but we loved the food and the taste. They were closed duringthe August so we were excited to go again when they came back in September I must say it was a huge disappointment. Theyforgot some of the orders, everything was late. We got the meats only for 1 hours and never got the vegetables on time. Theserver was careless about all the issues. When we asked what was wrong, she said " a 17 year old is trying to get training inthe kitchen" which didn't make any sense. I believe their original chef left. Or maybe he hasn't returned yet from vacation. Itwas the worst experience in this lovely place which I used to enjoy. The server left some extra items on the receipt and when weasked them to be removed, she took another 15 min to fix it. It was the first time for me to leave 0% tip which I would neverdo. I always left there more than 25% all the time and I referred them to all my friends. Overall, this time was a disaster. Iwant to go back when they fix all these issues. I am looking forward for better service, better kitchen stuff and bettercustomer experience. The way they serve recently is just unacceptable. Old review: Try this place! Staff is so friendly. Thefood is amazing. Try spicy broth for sure! Skewed beef and shrimp are highly recommended. Scallion pancake is a must. Beef combois amazing. When you have combo, you have all vegetables which will be more than enough. Udon noodle is delicious in the pot.And also try their homemade hot sauce. It is from heaven! Bubble tea is also delicious here. If you are in Rutherford,definitely try here! Read more

It was an outstanding experience, our waitress was amazing, the place is BYOB, so we brought a bottle of wine. The broth and the... sauces were very tasty, and the vegetables with the proteins super fresh. If you go, try to get sesame, soy and garlic saucesand combine them, it’s a game changer. Also, their peach bubble tea was really good, tapioca very chewy, and the drinkwasn’t too sweet, which is a great balance for the flavor. I am definitely coming back here. Read more

Today we went to the BeiJing hot pot. It is a small authentic BeiJing restaurant. The fruit teas are very good. We tried the... passion fruit and the mango flavors. The star jelly inside the tea are very tasty. The beef noodles are delicious. The shrimpdumplings and scallion pancakes are so good my son couldn’t decide which one he wanted for his second servings. Delicious Hot Pot food. What a great addition to the “downtown” Rutherford area. Located in a cozy spot right at The... Williams Center plaza, the food and service was great. Family owned style hot pot, and finally had gotten a chance to try afteropening and we were in for a treat. Their bubble tea is a steal, and their grill menu items come in skewers which are perfect ifyou want something lean and affordable priced. Their hot pot is really one-of-a-kind in the area and really diversifies thechoices in Rutherford which I love and the broth really is tasty. My wife and I tried one of their meat hot pots and it came outfresh and ready to be cooked and we were really impressed with the quality of food in such a cozy little space. Definitelycoming back. This may not be the fanciest little eatery, but they won't be little for long. What cool folks. Their modest presentation belies... a magnificent bowl of flavors. Servers are pleasant and knowledgeable. Either the chef is well-trained; paid much attention toNana cooking, or both. A delicious mystery I will gratefully try to solve. Read more
