Forget the 1 star reviews, lol. The staff was courteous and even apologized because I had to wait a minute or two before my... order could be taken. So polite! I ordered a Fall Exclusive bowl. I don?t even know what it?s called but it SLAPPED. It hadoats, green apples, and other yummy in my tummy ingredients. I?m literally inhaling it right now as I write this review. Checkout the photo. A super sweet staff member named Kylo put together my bowl and LOOK AT HOW THE BANANA IS FEATHERED. This bowl ismade with love. I?ll be back to try every menu item that has a banana in it. My first time here! The manager Lisa had very great vibes and there was good music playing. Me and a few friends came in the... last 10 mins then we're open and she was still upbeat ready to serve us I got the electric mermaid and it was delicious. If Icould give 10 stars I would! By far the worse Playa Bowls I went to! The lady taking my order had an attitude, I ordered and ignored her. I send my husband... today and while I?m on the phone I hear here being extremely rude!!! He sent me a picture and it was the same lady. Then shegets the order all wrong!! Over charged and then rushed him out. If you don?t like your job please quit! Why do the customershave to suffer. Let me start off by saying I politely asked to use the bathroom after I finished my bowl and the employee did give me the code... and then walks away saying ?but there?s no toilet paper? as she?s walking out the back door I have to almost yell, is itpossible to replace it? She says NO There?s not any! The employees are clueless to the customers waiting on line. Apparenly they are too busy sampling smoothies AND eating. No sense... of urgency. I was watching the girl making my smoothie, she was literally laughing, not paying attention and doling out samplesfrom a prior smoothie made to her fellow coworkers. I had such a great experience here. I came into Playa Bowls at their Rutherford location for a late night free bowl special. Update your hours online -.- especially if you're not open till midnight as advertised. Sunday - Wednesday they close at 10pm.... Not midnight Thursday - Saturday they close at midnight Transparency in your hours of operation is essential. Better thanhaving customers walk in at 10:05 for the workers to be like "haha sorry we're closed ????" Also. Don't stand by people eatingnear closing time and stare at them while they eat -.- Aside from those things, this place is OK. Fix the hours tho. Seriously. Read more
