We visited here last night to try it out and to celebrate a birthday. I called to make a reservation and they were super... helpful and accommodating. I also requested a special surprise waiting on the table and they happily set everything up. Whenwe got there, the table was just as I requested and the server was already waiting. The manager also helped to support thetable and checked in with us several times. We got several appetizers, drinks, soups, entrees, and a pizza and everything wasgreat. (Being honest, it was too good. I had planned to also get desserts, but we were completely stuffed.) Cost wasreasonable and all the food was served hot and fresh. One of the best places to eat in Rutland! We know the owners and all the wait staff pretty well, they're basically family. As... for food, you can't go wrong with the pizza, especially the Big Mac, the Dish Boy, or the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. We were therefor a birthday dinner and got some apps like buffalo chicken tenders, spicy chicken wings and stuffed mushrooms. Everything wasdelicious!! My wife and I met my sister from fla and my brother from Southbridge there were from warwick rhode Island haven't seen famly 4... years! The service was great! But the food was not! Mushrooms had a stick in them they covered with cheese we ordered stuffedmushrooms! Never had em baked in cheese! The rib was just ok! The window we sat by was filthy dead bugs spider webs hadn't Benwashed for years and there was musty smell in the dinning room! We all were sorry we went there! Never Again!! Read more

Went with my friends Paul and Ana who are regulars here. Service by Kyle was outstanding even though they were short staffed... like every other place these days. Ordered fried Haddock and asked if they can customize the batter/dough to make it spicy. Theyindeed customized it with red chilli powder/flakes in the dough just like i wanted. Perfect! Asked for bone in chx wings. Got pickles instead. Ordered eggplant and black olive pizza. Got 2-4 diced pieces of eggplant on... each slice. I usually love Ladd?s but I will NOT get take out from there again Read more
It was very welcoming but a little busy for us in the bar/dining area tonight. So my honey sat in the huge quieter dining room... to the left so we could relax & recap our day apart. (Rainy) - sp-Rene - was our server & she was fab-u-lous! We started withthe small crock of French onion soup , & some soft warm buns..mmmm Then had the grilled lemon swordfish w a baked potato &butternut squash_ muh honey had the fish & chips (again) lol *he puts malt vinegar on the best steak fries Ever....Who doesthat? #UhmHeDoes&TheyAreAwesome !heh I do have to say that we have only been there 2xs inside & (take-out 1x) We really havebeen nothing but happy with our food , the friendly atmosphere , the prices & the outstanding service. Cannot wait till' nexttime to try something new.. (My boo is gonna get the fish & Chips again- pretty sure) Oh but the desserts... Sitting area was extremely hot. Food wait time was over two hours. Food was cold. Sides were cold. Flavorless shrimp scampi and... cold salmon. Terrible. Never again. Read more
