The staff is always friendly, but the wait time is always crazy. We stop through sometimes on our two hour drive to visit family... and usually it?s too late to go anywhere else (other than McDonald?s) Last night in particular, we ended up having to wait inthe drive thru for 40 minutes which of course was frustrating. However, the cashier who was extremely apologetic maintained anamazing attitude, held friendly conversation with us while we waited for our food and was kind enough to give us an extra mediumfry for the inconvenience. You could tell the kitchen staff really weren?t doing much other than playing around in the kitchen,I really give the cashier a lot of credit for being so friendly despite clearly being overwhelmed with the kitchen staff notreally moving. Countless people pulled out of the drive thru behind us and honestly we contemplated it too, but needed to getour daughter fed. The gentleman who brought out our food threw an extra straw on the ground. Was very rude and the food order was wrong. This BK... has a pretty bad reputation. Rarely do I get my order correct. They however are the only place in town that will make a veggieburger. Overall once Wendy's starts making veggie burgers I will never go to the place again. Burger King in Rutland is the worse option. It is owned by an out of town outfit that neglects the store. Try Wendy's or... McDonalds. The restaurant is trashy and the employees are underpaid by local standards. This shows in every aspect of yourexperience at Rutland Burger King. I'm a BK fan and I do hope that one day they clean the place up but for now I choose to goelsewhere. Read more
This burger King is just okay. They seem to be out of something or have something broken every time. No CO2 for the sodas, the... broiler is broken for the whoppers, the frozen coke machine is down, etc. In terms of a fast food restaurant and berger king ingeneral, it's pretty much what you'd expect.
