A Delightful cultural experience in downtown Rutland . We were greeted with a big Hello by the cutest little hostess at this... family owned restaurant. The food really was enjoyable and our knowledgeable server was excellent. Prices were great and wegot plenty of flavorful spices & very good quality food?? So many excellent warming winter flavors and the best tandoori breadsI’ve ever had - everything was authentic & Delicious ???? Read more

The food is delicious. Perfect for take-out. They have ready-made options for lunch so it\'s super fast and easy to get what... I\'m looking for. They have lots of vegetarian options and everything I\'ve ordered has been very tasty so far. I am superexcited to have a good Indian restaurant in downtown Rutland! Read more

I was somewhat reluctant to try the place. But I was surprised and very positively I must say. Indian food is difficult to do... well, but there it was. The delicate attentiveness to everything, from appetizers to breads to the entrees, was very evident. We were a party of four. So, to get things right in each person\'s opinion was not very easy to do. After just a few days, Ifound myself thinking about returning, even if just for takeout. That\'s a good sign and the best endorsement. Read more

We just ordered this for the first time via door dash. So far this is the best Indian food I have had in Vermont or Rutland!... Coming from out of state we\'ve had our fair share of Indian cuisine and really love the exquisite flavors/spices. This did notdisappoint in flavor or spice, we will definitely be ordering again. Very appreciative to have this cuisine and this as anoption in Rutland! Thank you ?????? Read more

Good food but the rudest waiter ever encountered. Don\'t know what his problem was but very clear from the onset, he didn\'t... want to treat us with respect. Was so glad to leave and although my husband disagreed, I left a generous tip. I did what wasright, the rest is on this rude server.\n1.was very short and irritated with his answers to our questions about the menu as wellas any time we asked for anything.\n2. Asked for 2 cokes, he brought two cans and sat on edge of table.\n3. We asked for ice; hebrought 1 glass, half full of ice. My husband about lost it but neither of us said a word.\nA few more instances of his lack ofmutual respect before we finally left.\nWe were on a 10 day vacation from Georgia and hands down, our most horrible experiencewas here. Haven\'t even left yet and couldn\'t resist leaving a review. Best Indian food I\'ve ever had. We got the Chaat Papdi and... Chicken Samosa as an app, both were fenomenal but the Chaat Papdi was to die for and a totally new food experience. I got theLamb Korma as a main and I was extremely impressed. So much flavor and very tender lamb. We will definitely be returning andspreading the word of this hidden gem! Happy you\'re open! Read more
