I have been here thelree times and eaten here only twice. The reason? The rudest waitress I can imagine!! The first time the... waitress we had was bad at her job and pretty rude, the second time our waiter was just ok and tonight we had the worst waitressI have ever experienced!! We actually walked out before we ate. The manager was completely incapable of handling a complaint. Hedidn't say he would handle it, just seemed like he didn't know what to do. I find it very sad that a restaurant would charge $1.50 for a small container of sour cream and $3.00 for a bread basket. I just... could not believe that! The menu prices do not cater to young couples who want to go out on a date and then have to pay ababysitter. With tip my meal was almost $80.00 (One person) Also, the atmosphere and service was not outstanding. Read more

This was a 35th Wedding Anniversary dinner. OMG was the food good!!! We had the Prime Rib. I'm very glad we found this place.... We were also visiting VT from ME, so we didn't know the area when we looked for a steakhouse restaurant. Super glad we foundthem. Read more

We were looking for a nice steak restaurant to celebrate our anniversary. We couldn't have found a better one! Our experience... was excellent from the wonderful, attentive waitress to the perfectly cooked steaks just the way we like them! We didn't expectthe chairs to be so comfortable so that was an extra bonus. The food quality and the whole experience made the price well worthit! We highly recommend this restaurant. Read more

I was not impressed with how the oysters were done, someone in the kitchen didn?t shuck them properly. They should slid out of... the shell into your mouth but were stuck on the bottom of the shell, that?s not cool. Also the pork chop I ordered was asked toas rare as they could do it. It came out so overdone. Way to dry. I?m giving 3 starts because our waitress Liz was awesome.Perhaps check the food before it?s sent out, if you were out eating I?m sure you would do the same, especially paying the pricesyou charge. Was really excited to know that the hotel we stayed at had a steak house right behind it. So here goes. I love steak, poultry... and fish. I?ve developed a bigger love for the taste of all food especially since my boyfriend introduced me to mouth wateringrestaurants (He himself is an executive chef with 18 years culinary experience with a background in fine dining) We were bothexcited to come here. We were seated quickly and our waitress and host were wonderful. Our orders were taken quickly and ourfood came out shortly. We ordered the cheese board which was fantastic! I wasn?t a fan of the area on the menu that listed thesteaks. There was no ounces and I had to ask our waitress which I have never had to do. The steak I would not recommend at all.I ordered a steak delmonico 22ounces medium rare and it was medium well. The outside was a bit overdone (slightly burned). Thesteak had no sauce, wasn?t braised, had any seasonings and honestly there was no flavor. It was bland. It was the worst steak Ihave ever tasted. It came with a blue cheese butter on top. Personally outback has better steak than here. We had a side of theasparagus which came with béarnaise and it was NOT it at all. He ordered the NY strip that came with a cognac sauce on theside. We have eaten in some of the best restaurants in NY, NJ, PA and that was one of the worst sauces I?ve ever tasted. Myboyfriend traveled overseas and worked in Europe and he agreed. It was thick and it?s not supposed to be. The mashed potatoes itcame with were cold. I only give 2 stars due to the service and the cheeseboard and the drinks from the bar. We had a great time, We sat at the bar, had really nice cocktails, i love gin so i picked the bees knees, really good. The... french onion soup was really good. I had the seared salmon was good, the only thing that was supposed to be medium rare, camemedium, but other than that was really good. I also got a side of steamed asparagus, which they came with a vernaise sauce, butthat one came cold instead of hot (of what i know is supposed to be hot). But other than those tiny things. Dinner wasamazing. Amazing and very patient server. Definitely going back. Read more
