Great food as always.
We just moved to the area and were looking for authentic Mexican food, and were delighted to find Los Compadres. They have a... terrific menu and everything we have tried so far tastes super-fresh and delicious. Our first visit, I had the alambre - thesteak was perfect, the corn tortillas taste like fresh homemade, the beans and rice were perfect, and there was so much food Ihad to take half of it home. My husband had the torta, and he said it was really good - and he's picky about his tortas. We hadour kids join us the next time with a take-out order and their burritos looked amazing. The food is really delicious and thestaff are friendly and helpful. Expect a wait time, as they seem really busy and popular and this is real food - not fast food -so order a horchata or michelada and enjoy the company of friends - the food is worth waiting for. Got take out from this spot for the first time. I ordered 2 tamales and the torta los compadres. The tamales were good and you... could probably get full on those alone. On the menu it says the torta was supposed to come with cheese and avacado on it, minedidn't have either, still it taste fine. A buddy ordered the boy's pollo said he liked it. *EDIT* Going to have to change up thereview. A Year later, prices have SKY ROCKETED. About the same order that costed about $35 then, now costed $64, something like$20 for sales taxes... Really unfortunate, it was a good spot to get some food before, can't say I'll be going back again. Read more
The food was great, the place is clean, good restaurant in a small town everyone is nice there.
I got the Fajitas Especial and it was amazing! All the food was fresh and delicious. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Everything my family ordered was EXTREMELY salty. My husband had a hard time on the way home trying to keep his food down... because of the salt. The beans and cheese are really good though. The food was only bad because of the amount of salt. We wouldonly go back for the beans and cheese. Read more
