I go here almost every Thursday for lunch but I order from the dinner menu. EVERYTHING on the menu is amazingly delicious ????.... The owner Sammy and his son Nick are always super kind and welcoming, they provide excellent customer service. They create sucha family-friendly atmosphere which besides the food, makes you want to go back often. They also have a superb selection ofwines. My wife and I just got home from Averna and we’re blown away by the superb quality. Apps were Caesar salad and fried calamari,... both were excellent. Dinner was the ribeye with home fries, my wife ordered the chili glazed salmon and both were great. In factthis is the first time in a while that I was totally satisfied with a high end steakhouse. I could smell the aged scent of thesteak as they served it, the home fries were crisp with a hint of spice. Recently hosted a party at Averna and all my guests raved about the food and service. "This was the most delicious food I've... had..." was the predominant comment among our guests. While the Porterhouse is their signature dish and cooked to perfection,the Salmon dell' Carlo was the favorite. Sammy and Nick were superb and Eera was not far behind getting some candids.
