Have been coming here for over 10 years and was very disappointed with my last visit.I spent $114+ on take out. The food and... service was below par. The pastrami was so "burnt" it was inedible. I think it was the ends. The.bread was so dry I think it wasstale. Also I requested mustard. Over the years Rye Ridge deli has gone downhill in terms of quality, freshness of food, taste, and accuracy of orders. All... while the prices keep going up. Last nights order?. Turkey was extremely dry, threw out 2nd half of sandwich, grilled chickensandwich consisted of chicken chunks rather than a whole piece? the sandwich completely fell apart and was impossible to eatwithout a knife and fork. Patti melt was lacking in overall flavor.. and French fries were very soggy! All this for $71.47. Ifwe had eaten in, the order would have been sent back!! Read more
Just left RRD having bought 3 sandwiches and 1 chicken fingers & fries. All for the bargain price of $73.64 !!!! I nearly threw... up at the price. My own ?Turkey Reuben? was thrown in a silver takeout tin with a mass of super soggy fries laying on top - inand of itself, $20. I paid the bill because the guys behind the counter obviously had nothing to do with prices. Likely,they?re pulling in minimum wage. Really good food and good sized portions. The chicken noodle soup is delicious and the sandwiches are great. I don't eat them... but everyone seems to really like the pickles that come with the food. They also have lots of candy stuff in the front so a goodplace to bring the kids for a treat. Everyone is really nice there too. Read more
