Great Lunch on the patio at Category 12 Brewery and Bistro! We had the Charcuterie Plate and Pork Belly Sandwich with Crispy... Potatoes. Both were amazing, delicious and great value. I tried their Oktoberfest Lager (Munich Helles - 5.0%) and IrrationalIPA (8.2%) and both were very good. The Helles was a bit lighter flavored and the Irrational was very bold and funky! Great taproom, with a variety of beer on tap and canned for sale. You can get growler fills and have a bite to eat all in one... location. Very clean and inviting atmosphere. Staff can answer all questions on their products, get a taste to see if you likeit. Read more

Wow! Compliments to the Chef and the Brewmaster! We stopped here just because we saw it from the road. That raspberry vanilla... sour was fantastic and the tomato confit with goat cheese IS THE BEST THING I HAVE EATEN! Possibly ever! And pet friendly patio?All the boxes have been checked tonight! Category 12 is not what you?d expect from the outside! Very interesting science theme, with unique decor and a seating area... outside in the parking lot. I highly recommend a stop here for a beer tasting. There seemed to be a lot of cyclists stoppinghere as well to fill up their growlers and have a quick drink. Read more

This was by far our favourite brewery with our entire Victoria brewery trip. The food was terrific and the atmosphere was... amazing??now the beers?.. Amazing and great tastes and fairly priced. From the outside, it may not seem like much but WOW this brewery is truly something special. The decor is carefully curated, and... the science theme is prominent throughout the space. We didn't have any food but the beer was excellent - good variety of uniqueflavours. I highly recommend this brewery! Read more
