My husband was scheduled for a fasting test today in Lewiston so on the way back home we just had to stop by Uncle Moe's for a... late Lunch after leaving St. Mary's. We try to stop here at Uncle Moe's whenever we can if it is open and have since our kiddoswere little. They now have adult children. We have never received a disappointing meal in all that time. And suffice it to saythat their kiddos are the proprietors now. We both ordered the same thing, deep fried chicken in batter with fresh French Friesand house cole slaw because we discovered it as a new dish last year on another medical visit. Our meal was delicious, asalways, and the service was just as good. Neither of us had room for dessert nor for all of our meal. There was such a largeserving that our plates were just about to burst! We both had to ask for doggie bags - and NOT for the dogs either! I highlyrecommend this family restaurant to anyone who wants a great homemade meal that tastes just as good as it looks. Just take alook. I bet your mouth is watering right now... From Gardiner just head down the Lewiston Road through Monmouth, Wales, downpast Fielder's Ice Cream, into Sabathia, and keep watching as you pass Dunking through the light on your right across from thegass station, and there it is on your left. Enjoy! I know you will... Read more

I love the old fashioned feel of the place. The owners work so hard to keep it open and the customers happy. Always smiling. My... eggs were made perfectly. Read more

If your looking for classic diner food it?s not a bad place. Staff was super friendly but forgetful. I had an omelette with home... fries and a side pancake. My wife had eggs Benedict. Omelette was very good and the eggs Benedict looked and tasted amazing. Theside pancake was super dry and the toast had what felt like three pads of butter to much. Prices were a little steep for a localdiner but understandably so do to the pandemic. The diner had a hometown feel and was bustling. Will certainly try some of theirother menu items in the future. I ordered scallops with fries, forget veggies because I'm a man not a cow. They gave extra fries in place, and everything was... delicious. Scallops were a nice bite size, waiting staff was incredibly efficient and friendly. Barely a wait for this finefood. I would recommend this place to anybody except my worst enemies. Read more
