This gem of a place on main street Sackville was an unexpected find during our one night stay here. If you don?t know what... Kurdish food is like, it?s similar to other Mediterranean/Middle Eastern foods. We really enjoyed the stuffed grape leaves, thez?atar pizza with cheese, herbs and spices, and the savoury pastries ?dumplings?. There were lots of other options as well. One of the best restaurants in the Maritimes. The food is all incredible and unlike anything available anywhere else in the... Maritimes. Everything we got exceeded expectations and all at really good value for the price. If you are in Sackville or youare driving through New Brunswick, you have to stop here. Had a very good lunch with friends at Feners place July 9th. Relaxing, spa-like music was appreciated by all. Between 5 we... shared the vegetarian Family Platter which was excellent and just right(not too much food). An order of Pita bread complementedthe meal very well. We then shared the Honey cake . It was all so good I could have eaten much more, but it was nice(after a fewdays of big meals in PEI to have a meal that was sized just right, I will be back! Read more
All the other reviews are right, this place is unbelievable. Tried the Luc and Lilav wraps which came with garlic potatoes,... everything was so good, textures and flavours all exactly what you?d want. Service, prices, portions, atmosphere.. allexcellent as well. The Kurdish coffee definitely has a strong and unique flavour.. but it?s good to try new things. Only complaint is that the food is a bit UNDER priced. In the pic, that's a small Lilva's sandwich. $6.99 including awesome... potatoes with a garlic sauce. How is this place not jammed with students? Great spot, great food, friendly staff. Read more
