While visiting Maine this weekend, I was able to stop at Pacifico for a Friday night dinner. This is a very nice spacious... restaurant. Our waiter was able to give us some recommendations and welcomed us. We ordered a tiradito ceviche and a ChupePeruano. The chupe is to die for, I love it and will make sure to stop at Pacifico every time I’m in Maine. As a dessert wehad the passion fruit mango cheesecake … it was very yummy. Though next time I’d like to try their tres lechescake. Pacifico is a must for anyone who is traveling or lives in Maine. Read more

I absolutely love this place, the food is divine, so many choices, everything is fresh, unique with a Latin twist. The ambience... is very inviting, the servers are very friendly and knowledgeable. I had the Peruvian Chupe, an exquisite seafood soup unlikeanything I ever had before. All the cocktails have a Latin flair with exotic, genuine flavors. Wish I could give this place more than five stars! This was one of the best places we've been to in New England. The... presentation and the taste were amazing. This is the best experience in the area!!! I went and I came back twice to try their hole menu. Is amazing! They have also a... real nice variety of mezcals and another agave spirits! They're to amazing waiters, I really want to remember his name but Idont, he work aside in jewelry and he make and amazing work! Also Alex is the best!!! A standout must go to! Hubby and I were joined with friends. Make reservations this place is busy too. Our wonderful... experience started with a great waitress Gabby! The restaurant is comfy with an open kitchen. Recommended cocktails: Boy fromIpanema, Ricky Martin & the Chicano were all YUM! For apps we had the grilled octopus with fried plantains. The octopus was sotender. Guacamole with fruit is outstanding served with homemade plantains and chips. It was Taco Tuesday, 3 of us opted infor this dish- picking fish and steak, (pork is also available). Hubby got the Pork Belly dish, which has a unique braise offlavors that melt in your mouth.....dinner was accompanied with a bottle of the gorgeous Melbac. Delicious! Even just for cocktails and appetizers: Pacifico is located on the other side of the Amtrak parking lot, making it... perfect for killing time if you miss your train... I had a Mami Chula (cocktail) and the Queso Dorado (appetizer): Both were aflavor explosion. The Queso Dorado is a pan-fried cheese, gluten-free with a slightly sweet jam, and was something to savor;the cocktail was intense, but fun to sip: Even the glass it came in was beautiful!
