I ordered a breakfast burrito without eggs, cheese or sour cream. I substituted spinach, tomatoes and mushrooms. So it was only... black beans and veggies in the burrito with potatoes on the side. If you are a Sacramento local, you know that quality is synonymous with Paragary owned restaurants. We had lunch today at Cafe... Bernardo at Pavilions and it did not disappoint. I ordered the grilled salmon salad and it was perfect in every way. The saladdressing was just the right amount and the flavors were citrusy and subtle. Not too overpowering. I loved the indoor outdoorvenue. The weather was beautiful, so it made for a lovely dining experience. Such a great setting. I will definitely be back! Read more
Everything was delicious. I was very impressed despite the menu being smaller than many other restaurants. I absolutely loved... that they had a choice of a salad sampler. You can pick 2 or 3 choices; we picked the Thai noodle salad and watermelon salad. Myboyfriend devoured three thai noodles. The watermelon salad was really light and refreshing, I really loved that basil as well.It left a lingering freshness in your mouth. My daughter ordered a pepperoni pizza (no mushroom) and fries. The pepperoni wasmelt in your mouth perfection. The pizza however is pretty thin making it a bit flimsy so it required two hands even thoughthere slices weren't huge but the bread was so light and delicious. The fries were so fresh, crispy, and perfectly salted. Myboyfriend ordered the grilled flat iron steak...he is a steak connoisseur and he said it was PERFECT. I don't even think theyasked how he would like his steak, so that says a lot. All the vegetables that came with his plate were perfectly seasoned andcomplemented the stead very well. I ordered the stir fry noodles and I was very impressed. The chicken was juicy, tender, andflavorful. I loved the bell peppers and spice level. (I can always go spicier but this was perfect) The service was great. Ourwaitress was very pleasant and checked up on us just the right amount of times. She kept asking if I liked the wine (bc I wasn'tdrinking it because I was waiting for my meal) AND when they forgot and brought out our food, they forgot our fries but thewaitress overheard and acknowledged and got our fries to us pretty quickly. This place was recommended to us and we loved it.We definitely plan to go back. It's a hidden gem (right behind Ruth Chris' Steakhouse) and elf recommended to others. Therestrooms were clean, the atmosphere was really nice, and the restaurant set up was beautiful.
