I LOVE this place. I order an Original Pollo Bowl with a drink and tortillas, for six bucks! I also love their churros. I can... get all that for under ten dollars. It's such a great deal and just doesn't get old for me. I always ask for 2 extra tortillas;sometimes rather charge me, sometimes they don't. (I think they're supposed to charge 50 cents or so). Also, they have the BESTDr. Pepper! I don't know what it is that makes it so good but I would go there just for that. Read more
Ordered the four piece plate ????with two small sides and a choice of flour or corn tortillas( I chose flower). I have to say... the chicken was pretty good and the mashed potatoes were really tasty, the rice wasn't that great but they have plenty ofoptions of sides to choose from. LOVED IT!! My whole family loved it. There's lots of vagrants around so beware. Vacant lot attached is a junkie dumping ground.... Also, while we were in the drive thru I looked down and noticed that there was a huge knife, at least 10". I posted a video onmy YouTube, with the knife and told the manager about it. But, what about the food? They screwed up our actual order, gavesomeone else half of our food, like a whole bag of food, there was 3 adults and 3 kids, so my total was $50 something bucks. Ihad to physically go in and show my bag and receipt. And STILL didn't have silverware. Had to get some from somewhere else. THEPOSITIVE is that the food was all fresh and tasty. Poor customer service! No wonder why is always empty. I came to place an order I was not welcomed. Then forgot to wear the mask... and one girl asked ?Don?t you have a mask?? I say yes and wear it on. That employee just turned over without saying a word. Iignored her poor behave and lack of understanding that I am a client and because people like me they have a job. Then afterplacing my order, it was so quick that I praised THE SAME employee telling her ?Wao you guys are fast?. She just ignored mycomment and turn her back on me. I am not here to be recognized, came because I was hungry. But with that kind of service whywould I come back? Saying sorry is not enough. Poor customer service brings business down, owners/manager and employees mightnot care but me as a client, I do. Anyways there is another roasted chicken place down the street, ill try it next time. Great customer service. Their Tortilla Soup is DELICIOUS!! A delicious tomato based broth full of rice, chicken, veggies, & the... perfect combo of seasonings. The Taco Salad again..AMAZING! AND THEIR Chicken Avocado Bowl..SCRUMPTIOUS!! The Macaroni &Cheese...cooked to perfection with the most delicious creamy super cheesy sauce! The Cole Slaw...crisp with the perfect amountof dressing.. Looked like they where preparing for a big order for the next day. I went n the evening and was hopping when i seen the grill... filled with chicken, the grill was huge and their where chicken that can feed about 100. Hopping it wasn't for the restaurantthe next day. The one on Stockton Blvd, the chicken there was dry and seemed old. 1 star. This one on Northgate was on point. Read more
