I always get the best service when I come here the food is always hot and very yummy. The staff that works here are exceptional.... Diana is the person who took my order tonight she was so gracious. I had just spoke to her on the phone prior to arrivingbecause I was having a little trouble with the app. So thank you Diana for being so kind and giving me excellent customerservice. She should definitely be praised she is a rare find. And thank you to the employees at Consumes River El Pollo loco forgiving such good customer service and good quality food. Read more

The restaurant looked under staffed when I arrived and waiting for my curbside order took longer than expected. I went inside... they had my order ready and my drink was filled and handed to me. They needed improvement where it counts as stated. Read more

First time to El Pollo Loco at Delta Shores. Cannot recall if we, husband and I ever ate at one of the restaurants. Wanted to... try, after receiving a coupon. Standing at the counter, one can see all the chicken cooking a grill. Looked fabulous! Cashierstaff was nice. We ordered the two meals: chicken thighs and drumsticks, salad, tortillas and "sides" from the coupon. Husbandsaid it was a savings of $3+. Because he normally bbq food outside in the backyard, I know how some food are cooked. Plus Iprepare many ethnic foods at home. Overall the food was fair and odd. Chicken thigh was definitely brined with salt and had anice flavor. Next the drumstick. My husband warned, "you won't like it". Yes he was right... overcooked and dried out. Plusspicey hot, yet not the thigh. Rice reminded me of a boxed rice: processed and favored. Texture was odd. Coleslaw tastedspoiled. Husband said it seemed okay. Yet the end of the meal he tossed the remaining into the trash. All the various salsa,green sauce and another greenish white sauce were good and tasted fresh. Noticed all four trash receptacles were overflowingwith trash... Verdict: come again to eat? Not likely. Read more

Working in a service industry is not for everyone. I said this so many times. I was at el pollo loco @ delta shores Sacramento... when I try to order online as I always do but the app doesn?t take the coupon code. I step in the store and next 15-20 minutesof my stay can describe in four words, ? you are not welcome ?. Ouch! The cashier was reactive and response with out listeningand understanding the problem and when she mentioned to get a manager and I said ok, she replied, she will say the same as Itold you so. My Q is, why did you refer my to your manager then. After a decent wait manger showed up and keenly listening tothe cashier and not me. Then I introduced myself and the problem to her and she replied, app issues are not dealt at the store.As you all knows apps are the best way to order to beat the lines and earn rewards. In restaurant?s industry there is a monthlyor quarterly managers meeting so please take these app related issues to these meetings and own your mobile app as you own yourstore. Now LAST, Listen to the problem sincerely, Apologize to the customer for any inconvenience, Solve the problem and Thankthe customer.
