I?ve been dropping in here randomly at lunch time for 6 years now. It never fails to be an excellent slice. From the Don... Giovanni slice, pesto chicken, pep or cheese. Big NY slices with a great crust. Don?t overlook the Sicilian squares. They?regreat too but personally I go for the triangle slices myself. This place is so INCREDIBLE! The love of my life just moved to Sacramento and when I was there helping him move in we tried... Giovanni?s and it was so delicious! I lived in Brooklyn, NY for almost 5 years and I?ve always missed the pizza there but Ithink I?ve found my new fave joint in SAC! I wanted to do a pizza delivery surprise and even though I could hear they were sobusy in the background, when I called and requested a heart shaped topping there was no hesitation! First time trying Giovanni and the pizza was delicious. We did half Da Bronx and Gorgonzola pizza. The Bronx is a meat lovers... paradise; savory, full of meat, and cheesy goodness in every bite. Love this place, moved to Tahoe park around 6 months ago and this is the place I keep coming back to. Food quality is top notch... and they have a good tap beer selection. The seating is has a very open layout without booths compared to some places. It feelsa bit empty but it just adds to the character. Service guys are really cool and make you feel comfortable.
