It was alright, Carne Asada, mozzarella sticks and drinks were tasty, had pool tables for rent, almost non existent drink menu... which seems strange for a bar, but they ask what you like and are willing to create a custom drink to your liking. Lost a starbecause it was pretty warm inside while playing pool and could have used a fan of some kind. Definitely would have stayed longerif it was cooler or had better air flow. Read more
The bartenders are straight mixologists and they love doing what they do drinks were phenomenal. My husband asked for something... spicy and he got just what he asked for. It was a great drink made with fresh jalapenos and crushed blackberries topped withbeautiful flower. 5 stars for the bartenders and drinks. Food on the other hand was a 3. First time here at Honey and the Trapcat. Inside is a typical bar with pool tables. Outside they have a nice patio. First... downside was you have to order at the bar which is a far way from the patio. I ordered the Breakfast Burger with a veggie patty.Beware the veggie patty has some cheese in it. It was ok but not great. The bun can make or break a sandwich and this one brokeit. Very heavy and bready like something you would get at a grocery store. I prefer the Carls Jr Breakfast Burger with a BeyondPatty much more. My boy got a regular cheeseburger and he liked it. The fries were good. I asked The waitress that brought usour food if they had refills on drinks and she said no you have to pay. I thought she would offer to get them but didn?t. Thebartender came out later to deliver some food and he offered to get me a refill so I added a star. Not many burger options inOld Town but wouldn?t come back for the burger I had. Read more
Great bar and place to socialize! Ultra cool place for wonderful drinks. Bartenders are mixologists. Care about their craft and... create beautiful, interesting drinks. You just tell them what you like; herbal, citrus, sweet, spicy etc. And which alcohol andthey'll create something special just for you!! Amazing!!! Read more
Awesome back outdoor courtyard with fountain. Great beer and bar selection. Food was well-priced for the large serving size and... quality. It's casual American/Californian fare, but very, very well done. Seems like it would be such a fun bar for a night outalso! Would love to return. Read more
Lovely basement bar with an antique design and beautiful back patio, in a historic building to boot. The drinks were good but a... bit overpriced. The food was very underwhelming. We got a burger and some loaded fries, both were pretty bland. Read more
