What is worse than the food is the service. The hamburger bun was hard, food tasted disgusting, service was so slow, went to the... bar to get our own drinks. Terrific time here yesterday, family time lunch get together. Had the shrimp platter (I put the bacon on the side) but it was... very good. Had one of the crab buckets- and we all shared, the sausage, potatoes were yummy but the lobster didn’t taste asfresh and very rubbery with no taste. Virgin pina colada was wonderful!! 5 out of 5 stars for sure!! - This was my first time here. ???????????????????? We got seated immediately and a kind waitress... instantly took care of us. I can absolutely recommend anyone to be seated on their beautiful porch in the back with a nice viewacross the river. It obviously gets hot in the afternoon which besides the waiting time in general would be another good reasonto visit early. The food was brought out to us on time. The food was so yummy. Tasted fresh. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. The downfall was the kitchen staff. It took 45... min to get our food and it wasn't hot. Half my order was missing off my plate but the waiter was prompt in making it right andthe food that he brought was actually hot. The atmosphere helped with the lack of sufficiency in the kitchen. Service was really slow - we waited about 40 min for a table of two on a Sunday at 2 pm. We also felt that the food was average,... and the tastiest thing was probably the Great Balls of Fire - everything else was meh. Read more
We dine here every year on our Ol' Sac trips. This year only 3 of 5 stars equals "fair" because attentiveness of service,... waiting time and quality of food was feelable worse than we were used to. Maybe related to Covid times and busy saturdayafternoon. Read more
