I've been coming here for years and the staff is always super friendly and fun to chat with. The food is amazing. Fatoush salad... vegan style with two falafels is a requirement for us every time we go. They make great drinks (caipirinhas, sangrias, andmore). They serve proper silver needle white tea. The babaganoush is amazing. I can't comment on the non-vegan stuff but I amsure it is great too. Pre-covid they used to have hookah which was always great fun. Love love this place. A gem. Read more

Celebrated my 76th birthday with my daughter's family at Kasbah. The middle eastern food overall was quite good, the lamb chops... and shawarma in particular. The baklava was outstanding. The service was generally good but a little slow. The atmosphere wassubdued. Read more

The food and drinks here are fantastic. I had the babacanoush and pita along with the vegan stew. All of which were lovely and I... have enough for a meal tomorrow leftover :-) We did get to see a belly dancer which was fantastic and for the most part it'svery intimate and quiet. Read more

The food here is excellent. We arrived right when the restaurant opened and had beef and chicken shawarma plates. Excellent... seasoning. We also had the lebna which was also delicious. Inside, there is music, which plays louder than your typicalrestaurant. It is also very dark/dimly lit inside. Read more

This place is awesome. I'm not a huge fan of their drinks (I do like some of their wines) but their food is wonderful. Open... late as well. Read more

We had an amazing experience at the Kasbah. The atmosphere was delightful and inviting, but what impressed as most was the food.... I've never tasted anything like it in the United States or abroad. Plus, everyone who work there made us feel like we are partof their family. I can't wait to go back. Read more

My partner and I were visiting Sacramento in Nov 2021 and our local friends recommended we eat here. We decided to make this our... "fancy" dinner of the visit, and we're really glad we did. You should plan to make a reservation if you come - it's not superbusy or exclusive, but you will probably have to wait if not. There is plenty of outdoor seating, including seating with heatersso there's no problem with eating outside to be COVID-safe even in the winter. There's a patio that faces the street, as well asa courtyard (with the heated seating) shared with the tapas restaurant next door that's covered but still outdoors. We are veganso we ordered the Mezza Platter ($26) which was plenty for us to share. Every sauce was delicious and the amount of pita wasperfect. We also got Pommes Berbers ($8 - it's really just standard french fries with berbere spice but they were good fries soI can't complain!), Baklave ($6 - really delicious! I've never gotten to have vegan baklava before), a Rooibos tea ($5.10 -small size was plenty for 2 people after a full meal), and a Bavik Pilsner ($5.50 - really delicious. I don't like the taste ofbeer; I'm always searching for a smooth lager-type taste and this hit the spot). It was a $55 meal which was pretty good valueconsidering the nice ambience and all the different foods we tried. Our server Kelsey was really friendly and kind, and wasgenerous enough to turn down the heat when we asked. I hope to eat here again! Read more
