The service was fine, but the food took forever to arrive. The chicken Marsala was nearly inedible, tasting of mountains of... salt and Alfredo sauce of all things; without a hint of the wine flavoring it was named after, or any texture at all. It moreresembled a piece of rubber than chicken. The noodles were bone dry and the sauce itself didn’t help any, as it tasted likelicking a creamy salt rock, It was first time at the place, and with this first impression, ill never be coming back. The service was excellent . Waiters constantly checking to ensure we all had what we needed or wanted at all times . The food... was just okay . Typical American style Italian food : thick marinara sauce , overcooked pasta, not al dente . My seafood dishhad both clams and mussels that were tightly closed which indicates they are dead ( they were cooked not raw) . I am glad I knewthis if not and forced them open and ate them I could have gotten food poisoning . The best part of the meal that was deliciouswas the lemon dessert . I don’t recommend this restaurant if you want authentic Italian food . Read more

Having lived in Italy for 5 years I was looking for an authentic Italian Pizza experience Mamma Susanna's was not IT the... pepperoni and sausage pizza I ordered literally had 6 little pepperoni on it and 4 little pieces of sausage. Never again. GoodLuck with your experience at Mamma Susanna's. Read more

Such a wonderful, thoughtful staff in this basic Ristorante with bland bread and sauces. My youngest was the only one in our... party to finish his plate of pasta with butter. The bolognese was lacking in flavor and the shrimp with pasta only tasted oflemon. Read more

My wife and I really like good Italian food. This place doesn’t disappoint. The place isn’t that big but it seems like it... when you are sitting in the really comfortable booths. The service was polite and fast. They give you some bread with vinegarand oil before ordering, I love that they do that. Reminds me of Bruno’s in Livermore. The chicken Marsala is top notch anda must try. It ranks right up there to Anthony’s Italian in Natomas. If you don’t eat pasta they will add more veggies.Remember this place is popular, make sure you call for reservations! We will go back again and again. Don’t miss this one! Read more
