Lots of good things lots of bad things. We got the sauteed veggie breakfast burrito and the cheese and yellow corn egg dish. ... The burrito had lots of veggies, a big plus, however it was lacking in any real flavor. The cheese and corn was very tasty butthe pico was unwanted and kinda wasted the food that was under it. Safe, fast, friendly and clean. So I'm looking for some breakfast burritos for me and the gang at work. But you've gotta be... careful with those things. We want tasty! But we'll pass on the bonus illness that's associated at some of the authentic lookingplaces. Nopalitos is a homey place. Authentic decor and friendly while still being nice and clean. Fast service. My wife and I enjoyed an excellent breakfast of chorizo and eggs. The breakfast came with southwest potatoes that were... fantastic. It also comes with a terrific salsa as a topping. Both are breakfasts only cost $22. Great service friendly people.We enjoyed our breakfast on an outdoor table however they have indoor dining as well. Highly recommend this restaurant if youare in East Sacramento. Read more
Small establishment but good food and service. I had the breakfast burrito with chorizo and it was amazing. I also had a cup... of black drip coffee from a local brewer that was very good as well. The only issue I had was the cash only payment, thattripped me up but the staff was so kind and started my order while I walked 2 minutes to the closest ATM. I didn't get a chanceto try the pastries but noticed people coming just for the bread cakes they have. Read more

Yes. Just yes. This is an amazing local favorite that you might not hear much about. If you?re looking for one of the hidden... secrets of Sacramento and food, this is one of them for sure! I love this Mexican food. It?s easy to get to and you have loadsof choices in food selection. My favorite is the chorizo breakfast burrito. You can?t go wrong with that. The staff is always sohelpful, especially the owner. What a great place to check out. Also, be warned, this is a cash only establishment. Bring themoney with you. Read more

Husband really liked his smothered breakfast burrito and I enjoyed the polenta breakfast. Got a short stack of pancakes (they... are fluffy!) and a Mexican hot chocolate too. You order at the counter and they don't take cards (cash only). Small space butperfect for a weekday visit, it wasn't too busy on a Thursday at 9:45am and we sat at one of the 4 outside tables.
