OBO?s style is casual dinning. Patrons first order and pay for food/drinks and then get a seat. There are plenty is tables, some... seems communal, which is nice. Like the decor and ambience. The food is good, but not memorable. Thus, I don?t know why thisplace is on the list of best restaurants in Sac. No disrespect, it is a nice place, good service and I think people shouldvisit. Yet, this is not a high end culinary experience one would look for in a top restaurant in the area despite the niceambience. I would definitely encourage people to visit for lunch, not so much dinner, especially if there is a special occasion.Cocktail were average to the not so good side, though. I would try again but as I said, likely for lunch. Read more

This is actually a very nice place. Please note that it is more of a cafe than a sit-down restaurant, but they do a good job of... blending the two vibes. Overall, all of their food was very nice. I'd only say that their pizzas are not as classic as Iexpected them to be, but still a great experience overall. Read more

Lately it seems like OBO has improved in the consistency of their food. Past trips, especially on very busy days always seemed... to be hit or miss with quality and consistency. Seating is nice and the concept overall is not too intimidating for the level ofexperience you're getting. Which I do like very much. Great place for casual lunches or dinners still, and the bar is just aplus. Read more

This was my first time eating at OBO and I'm in love! It took me a minute to visit this place because I'm not big into pasta,... but I finally did and I was impressed. The prices are great, the atmosphere is casual, the food is fantastic, the staff isawesome! For our first visit I ordered the Truffle and Mushroom Soup, Beet Salad, salt and rosemary bread, and eggnog cheesecakebar. My fiance ordered a pizza (I forgot which one) and I would recommend it all, with my favorite being the soup. It wasphenomenal, the quality you would expect from the Selland Family! All around a great place with a great staff and fantasticfood. I will definitely be going back! Read more

Parking: Has some very difficult parking especially coming around 5pm or 6pm. During Friday's or weekends mostly is where the... parking can be a bit cramped. If you are able to find 1hr or 2hr spots then perfect. Place: I absolutely loved the atmosphereand the look itself it is most dashing. I really appreciate how you can order desserts and the food and pay at the front. It ismost convenient for me to pay first and leave definitely love it. Definitely come around 6 or 7 and eat outside it gives a verynice sunset aesthetic to eating. Food: I ordered the burrata ravioli and one of their sweet cocktails. My friend ordered theirshrimp scampi linguine and cookies. I loved the ravioli and I will absolutely come back again to eat this delicious Italiandish. Also the cookies are to die for as well. The salted caramel cookie is filled with loads of caramel and very soft to eat.The cocktails itself are okay. I wouldn't say it's my favorite but the flavor if the cocktail so far has a nice fruity taste toit which I enjoy. Read more

This place main appeal is the hip, casual atmosphere, reminiscent of LA's young-professional bougie-esque interior design.... Service was friendly. However, I thought the food was pretty mediocre for the pricing. Roughly $40 for 1 piece of chickenpiccata, a slice of foccacia bread, some kale and farro, and meh shrimp scampi. The pasta was really mediocre, like, tastes likeboxed pasta. (Not hand made pasta!!) If it wasn't for the atmosphere, the food would be a 3/5 stars. The drinks look promising, but haven't tried it. At least the food tasted healthy...or rather simple. Read more
