Place was pretty empty and it still took 20 min for someone to come take our order. Fish was fried to hard with no seasoning and... greasy, rice tasted old. As if it was sitting out all day. Server was cool. Read more

We discovered this place via my daughter. We normally eat at home but wanted someone else' cooking plus we wanted Ghanian food.... The atmosphere was fine and since the food (African dishes) is cooked to order we knew it meant we'd wait. We ordered banku, fufu, goat soup, palm nut soup, fried talipia with pepper sauce and kelewelee. When the food arrived, it was very good, hot andfresh. We left completely satisfied. It reminded me of being in Ghana. The cook and owner came out and greeted us which was sounexpected. Everything was nice. Read more

I called in my order. I got the jollof rice with the grilled tilapia. I really wanted to like this place but it was highly... disappointing! The fish was nice and moist but it lack flavor I had to use a lot of hot sauce to bring it back to life. Thesauce that came with the fish taste like fish oil I couldn't use it. There is absolutely no way that jollof rice was made todayit tastes like they made it on Friday and today is Sunday it was incredible dry and also lack flavor. I expect African food tohave a kick with lots of spiciness it didn't give me any of that. I don't even need to talk about the salad just look at thepicture I didn't eat that either. I gave it a extra star because the customer service but sadly I will not be returning. Themeal cost 20.99 Read more

This review is long overdue! I visited 2 weeks ago ordered the West African Connection which comprised of Jollof rice, Salad... and goat stew! It was delicious! The goat stew was the best short of getting on an airplane to go back to the motherland! It?sby far the best you will get in Sacramento! It was falling-off- the bone tender, well seasoned and it just hit the spot. Thecustomer service was excellent! I would highly recommend it and will be sure to patronize this restaurant!! Read more

Good food but the service could be better. Maybe it was just the time we were there or they were short with people to help, but... the level of service we got was a bit subpar. The server even forgot to place one of the orders for our party. I do agree withother reviewers that the people are friendly though. If you don't care about service and just want to get some good Africanfood, i would recommend this place. Read more
