Food was not great. I had eggs, country potatoes, sausage and toast. The potatoes tasted old. Not hot. But like stale. You know... you can't eat reheated potatoes b/c they taste old. Like that. I left most of my food. Read more

A delightfully quirky greasy spoon with personable staff and tasty food. And not to mention, keno (if you're into that)! Corned... beef hash and biscuits and country gravy hit the spot. I lived in Sac for so many years and regrettably never visited thisiconic breakfast spot...why!? Right off the freeway which makes it a great pit stop. Loved this place. Wish the clowns weren't so angry or sad looking. The bathroom was beat up. Everything was broke and dirty.... Mirror was scratched to hell. I see yard sales and many places they could have gotten cheap bathroom decor. Upgrade thebathroom! Read more

No social distancing, hostess customer service was lacking bordering on rude, food was lacking. Booths are small and close together. Our Pecan Waffles were actually Walnut. No one volunteered this information, we let them... know we knew and only then was it acknowledged. The Tip suggestions on receipts are based on total amount INCLUDING TAX, insteadof just the Food. Not a big deal but also not the standard way of calculating tips. Read more
