The food was so yummy with good portion. It was a little pricey but again the portions made up for it. The drinks came in big... cups and were strong! Just the way we like them! This place was highly recommended to me by a coworker in Sacramento who knows what quality food is all about! For our appetizer,... we had The Sourdough Cheese Loaf that was unbelievably delicious and loaded with cheesy goodness!! We all ordered the Rio Burgermedium rare. I ordered mine with bacon and my coworkers had mushrooms. The burgers were sizable and dripping with juicy flavors.Each of the burgers has cheddar cheese and is served with fries on the side. We came in for breakfast about 10:30 on a Saturday without reservations and the ladies up front were able to kindly sit us out... on the patio. Such a nice warm day to enjoy the breeze of the river and excitement. My spouse ordered the tuna salad and Iordered the huevos rancheros. The ahi tuna salad was delicious I got to taste it, but the whoever's rancheros definitely neededa spicy kick. The bacon was a nice touch. My only complaint was the waitress would ask us numerous times for the same thingwhile we waited. Almost like she had dementia at 30. My recent visit to Rio City Cafe was delightful. We sat outside and enjoyed dinner by the river. It was open and airy and the... food was delicious. I ordered the Red Crab and Shrimp Louie Salad and it was loaded with shrimp and crab. The Louis-styledressing was quite delicious, and the avocados were a great topping! Excellent food and service in a nice cozy setting by the river with a view of Tower Bridge. Went there twice, for both brunch... and dinner. The price is on the $$$ side but the service and quality of good was worth it. Kids friendly place. Plenty ofparking in the public garage or street nearby in Old Sacramento. Read more
Loved it here - would come back again. We ate on the patio on Nov. 28 - they keep it warm out there, and the views are great!... Nice little date spot. Service was splendid and the food was good. Four stars because it is a smidge pricey, but not abhorrent.Recommend! Read more
On a chilly autumn afternoon they had a lovely roaring fire, crackling cosily in the corner. The service was as warm as the... room. The food was incredibly delicious, hands down the best swordfish I've ever had and I've had a lot of swordfish, as it'sone of my favourite fish. Their keylime is sublime. Highly recommended. Read more
