Fun atmosphere, the decor definitely gives the feel of a jungle cabana. Tasty drinks inspired by popular ones but with a unique... twist. Food was excellent as well. My only complaint, which is why it's 4 instead of 5 stars, is that the menus are onlyavailable by QR code, and we asked three times for a paper menu, and when it finally came it was very hard to read. Several words to describe the Jungle Bird; unique, innovative, and eclectic. This place focuses primarily on that tiki... bar/Polynesian theme which is very impressive. And with a very generous amount of slushy cocktails, unique well drinks, and evena tropical beer menu, this place stands out in the crowd; especially in Midtown Sacramento. Furthermore, they have a small foodmenu which includes wings, fries, and other basic items. Bartenders are very chill and this place even offers a nice little backpatio. Read more
We had so much fun here! The staff is great! The hostess was very kind. Our server Evan, was fantastic! Very friendly, and even... brought out different colored parrot mugs for me to choose from. The drinks were delicious, especially their mai tai (one of thebest I’ve ever had)! The decor and vibe is incredible. There’s things to look at no matter where you look. The food wasmostly delicious. We loved the pupu platter. I got the veggie stir fry, but it seemed like store-bough ramen with veggies, whichwas disappointing. I should have gotten a full order of the coconut shrimp (part of the pupu), which were so good! The atmosphere is awesome!! They were playing a club type mash up of Christmas music that was really fun. The drinks come in... super cool cups. The only downside side is all the drinks we ordered in the cool cups tasted awful. Like so bad you had to laughabout it. They were also short on water glasses; the waiter brought some water when we arrived and said he had to find moreglasses. Eventually he did but I thought it was quite odd for a bar to run out of water glasses - especially when we passed 4empty tables. Overall I would definitely come back just for the ambience of the bar. Read more
It was super dark. Other customers found it funny. The food was excellent. The fries came out cold. In all fairness I did not... let them know, since I was completely stuffed after the Bulgogi bao tacos and Banyan burger no room for fries. Washed it downwith the birds of Paradise. Read more
