I needed to edit my review! I have always loved this Sandwich Spot, but since the owners wife has started making sandwiches the... quality and quantity of the sandwiches have declined significantly. My veggie sandwich is $10.99 which is the same price as themeat sandwiches. The meat sandwiches get a pile of meat with veggies. I always ask to substitute my cheese for extra avocado andget all the veggies and sauces. Normally my sandwich is delicious and worth the money even though its just veggies. However, theowners wife is extremely chintzy with the toppings and its not worth the money now. This is the fourth time she has made mysandwich and in the pictures you will see how little see gave this last time. The crazy thing is this is more veggies than shegave the previous three times she made my sandwich. I can't go here anymore if I'm only going to get a sandwich worth $1.00 ofingredients/bread. First time even hearing of this place, decided to give it a try. I had the nighthawk, lots of chicken, really tasty, but the... star is the sourdough bread - So good. Staff was friendly, asked if we'd ever been there and showed us the menu because wehadn't. Got there just before the lunch rush and they were super quick. Will definitely eat there again Read more
This used to be a great sandwich place. Ordered my usual #16. The lady stopped making it and went to ring up about 8 different... customers. So my hot sandwich was served cold and the Dutch crunch became soft and crumbly on top. The turkey was also an oddcolor. Weird texture and taste. Mac Salad was fine and the second order (cold turkey sandwich) was okay. Won't return to thislocation. Read more
Not the best first experience. Service was slow and the 2 employees seemed determined to speak to us and the other customers as... little as possible, not even acknowledging the 3 customers who came in after us, which just made the slow service moreuncomfortable as we waited about 10 minutes to have our 2 sandwiches made (it was empty when we walked in around lunchtime, Iwould have been more understanding of the wait and lack of communication if they had been busy). The sandwiches themselvestasted pretty good but we both had The Nighthawk and were disappointed to find that the avocado in both sandwiches was old andblack. I was also unpleasantly surprised that the top crust of the Dutch crust bread was sugary sweet for some reason, woulddefinitely get a different bread if I ever come back. Read more
The sandwiches were decent. After about 10 minutes at home they tasted old. Pastrami was really cheap. There were basically no... veggies on our sandwiches. And mine, I specifically ordered with no avocado because I'm allergic, it was still on the sandwichso I couldn't even eat it. Read more
Nice, friendly, and quick service. They don't have fountain sodas, but they do have a large variety of canned and bottled... drinks. I love that it definitely has a mom & pop vibe when you go in. Go on Friday and get their BBQ tri-tip sandwich! Read more
This location tried passing 1/4"of meat on the Italian sandwich and argued about it. At least he doubled it up after a tense... back n forth. I was at dugout deli and they had almost 2" of meat in there Italian and for $3 less. Read more
