I wanted a waffle experience and ended up on my phone... You have to order on your phone AND pay before someone even brings you... water here. You HAVE to pay a convenience fee? And tip 20% before? Pay for sauce like ranch and ketchup? The food was great butnot worth the hassle. They started the online thing on November 10 so who knows Edit: We were told to sit at our table andorder on our mobile device, I did not know we had the option for someone to come around. The online platform is confusing and wewould have paid tip in cash if it were an option. I wish I had known we could have just waited to order with a real person, thefood really was good though. The food and service was really good. The waffles, however, were doughy raw in the inside. I asked the staff about it and she... explained that it's made with a brioche batter. Regardless, I don't think it should be doughy in the center and seem raw; itwasn't pleasant. I had the chicken and waffles. The chicken was very flavourful, tangy, slightly spicy, sweet. My son had aWhere's the Beef, which he enjoyed. The fries were seasoned well and crispy. The waffle was disappointing, not likely to comeback. Read more

We've been looking for breakfast/brunch restaurants to tey in the Sacramento area. This restaurant came up. Indoor vibes are not... very welcoming, we sat outside which was nicer. Our server was accommodating to our dietary restrictions. We ordered "we lostthe beef" sandwich, the s'mortella waffle and the avocado on toast. They were delicious except for the s'mortella which had toomuch fudge syrup. Then we ordered another we lost the beef, and it was so different than the 1st sandwich, the 1st one wasimpossible burger, but the 2nd one was 3 dolmas on top of a waffle with arugula, tasted odd. Not really coming this restaurantagain. I also think they should invest in adding more vegetarian/vegan options. Read more

Our food was ok. Not amazing. I didn?t like the waffle itself, it had a strange flavor but the toppings and hash browns were... great. My boyfriend?s Benedict was over cooked. The service was awful. Our waitress never came back after she dropped off ourfood. We ate outside and had to go inside to ask if we could pay. Read more

Service was a little rough due to short staffing but the good made up for it. The pork belly hash was my favorite part, highly... recommend! Read more

I always love this unique waffle restaurant. Savory or sweet not your original waffles. Farmer in the Dell is a take on... chicken fried steak (yum), an herb savory waffle, arugula (which I never thought of for breakfast item), egg (any way you wantit cooked) and roasted tomatoes. This is so different yet so tasty. Comes with a side option, today I had a side of breakfastpotatoes . Awesome crispy and soft my favorite potato. Coffee just right as I sat outside on the patio. Great service andpeople. 07.16.2020 Update 04.01.22 Awesome Benedict waffle dish and associate had a great Praise the Lard waffle experience.! Read more

Breakfast was delicious! The workers were very friendly. The lady that attended us was great! She was very sweet and helpful.... The food was very flavorful. This was only 13 min away from the airport. Would recommend this place anyone that wasn?t a biteto eat after a long flight back in town. Read more

Our server, Brittney, was super friendly and informative. The food is always amazing. I got the pork belly fried rice, called... "We're Loco". Easily some of the best I've had. Assuming it's not a limited time thing, I'll likely get it every time I comehere. Girlfriend got the "Hangover Split". Both were phenomenal. Easy 10/10. Highly recommend this place. Read more
