My grandson ordered this for my birthday. I thought at least I could have at least two small meals. These people are a rip off.... He paid $52 for a very small amount. I ordered the Mongolian beef and these people had the nerve to put a filler under my meatto make it look like more. (Some type of tiny noodles). The food was delicious. If it had not been there would have been aserious problem. Actually I can say that the food was better than any Chinese food in Sacramento. They just need to at least befair with the proportions. I always check reviews before I try a place. This place has an overall rating of 3.7. Most of the bad reviews are for bad... customer service or small portions but most were a year or more before. I tried them anyway and I will tell you I experiencednone of those things. Customer service was great, pickup order was ready on time and the food was outstanding. If there was oneknock it would be the condition of the restaurant inside which was dark, old and dingy. But I didn’t care about that my orderwas to go. Hopefully they’ve put their bad days behind them because I’ll be back for sure. Read more
It's decent Chinese food but the proportions don't match the prices compared to other places nearby.
Honestly the food is decent, the prices are a little too expensive compared to the quality, but they’re good in a pinch. We tried this restaurant tonight and found the food to be flavorful and of generous portions. The orange eggplant was really... unique and delicious. The cashew chicken was also delicious with a variety of veggies such as mushrooms, zucchini and broccoli.My only complaints is that the service was not super friendly and the menu was not very descriptive as to what veggies are ineach dish. So I went to work and forgot to bring food, so I stopped by here. Read some of the reviews claiming poor customer service and... poor food quality, so I decided to see for myself. As for the customer service, it could be better. On the phone call whileordering, the person on the line seemed lackluster, and when I picked up the food, there weren't any smiles or "Thank you" thatI can remember. It was almost awkward. It was around 8-pm, so maybe they were tired, but still. It's customer servicefolks. That being said, the food was ready when it was said it would be (15-20min), and it looks, and tastes, quite good. Thefood actually surprised me in how vibrant the colors were, and I was excited to try it. I ordered the Cashew Nut Chicken andwill go back to try another dish. I also work in customer service and have had lots of experience in many types of situations.A simple smile and "Thank You" goes a long way. A "Hi and thanks for coming" is even better and leaves a positive impact. So tothe owner / manager / employees, if you're reading this, I want you and your business to be successful! See you again! The hostess guy is very unwelcoming and unfriendly. He'll give you a dirty look and when ask a question he looks annoyed and... very unwilling to respond and focus on his cellphone. They definitely used msg too. Read more
