Best restaurant in New Jersey. The Chef is amazing. I came with Stevie Z and crew. Great night.
We arrived on time for our reservation but had to wait as the maitre’d had seated other people on larger tables. We waited 20... minutes and were turned down for a larger table that was give to another two who came in later. The appetizer was acceptable. Weshared grilled tiger prawns. My lady’s order was a grilled veal chop. The veal chop was not a first cut rib. It was overlysalty and was sent back. I had the halibut which was so salty it was inedible. That, too, went back. We then ordered penne withmeat sauce. That was tasty by was loaded with cream even though we did ask about the ingredients. We did not finish that disheither. On the plus side, the wait staff was lovely. The decor was rustic but the ambiance was quite noisy. All in all, theexperience was disappointing. Read more
Outstanding food at a “reasonable” cost for a high end restaurant. BYOB allows you to complement dinner with a fine bottle... of wine without doubling the bill. Steaks as good as any high end steakhouse. Service, atmosphere terrific. Highly recommend. Read more
Flawless dinner. Everything we ordered was superbly prepared. Duck, crab cakes, and sirloin were all great. Desserts and... appetizers were excellent as well. Not inexpensive, but a terrific place for a celebratory meal. Two years after the lastreview the dinner was every bit as good. Again. Different dishes but all terrific. Veal chop parmigiana was excellent as was theduck and shrimp. Read more

Without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants. Everything about it is incredible. The crab cake was one of the best I’ve ever... had. Spanish octopus was extremely tender and perfectly seasoned. It was accompanied by a perfect mix of potatoes, peppers,chorizo and a sauce that had me scrapping the plate. My girlfriend and I decided to split the porterhouse for two and went withthe black truffle butter on the side—mind bending. In fear of downplaying it I won’t go any further. For dessert-notpictured because we were too busy enjoying- we had the peanut butter moose and chocolate cakes. The peanut butter moose is myfavorite dessert on earth. Really cool that you can get a floral arrangement set in advance so it is on the table when youarrive. Made my girlfriend happy on our anniversary. Shout out to our server Nick—he killed it. Ty was an excellent waiter. Very knowledgeable about the menu specials and all choices. Appetizers are excellent here . Steak... tartare, tuna tartare, crab cake and noodle dish were all outstanding! I had the 20 ounce sirloin. It was an excellent steak. Cooked to perfection. We were visiting from Maryland and our daughter took us here for my wife’s birthday. A wonderfulexperience. Read more
