The food was delicious, service was mediocre, parking is bad cause it's always packed. Overall enjoyable experience.
Reservation made and accommodating to a time change and added people to an already large party. Salsa was delicious. The beans... all looked microwaved, not very tasty and dry. I have never had a “Chile relleno” that looked or tasted like this. It waslike an omelette with a slice of green chile in it. I privately shared with my server that it wasn’t what I was expecting andI didn’t like it and he simply said “well that’s just how we make it here”. He wasn’t rude, just zero concern. Unique Mexican-Hawaiian menu items while we visited. Some of the chips before the meal were stale and hard to bite into. Chunky... salsa appeared fresh and made in-house and had good flavor and heat. Margaritas were basic, no name-brand tequilas wereavailable. Our orders did not come as described on the menu. We selected the shrimp fajitas plates but it failed to include thepineapple. The flour tortillas were good. Our waitress left her shift for the day and did not transfer the tab to anyone else. The AC was blowing directly on us a bit too cold. The food is usually good but the staff needs help. They're usually good but don't come if there's a party. The waitress only... cared about them and their guarantee gratuity. It sucked waiting an hour and watch everyone around you getting food even if theywere seated 10 minutes after us. Probably gonna be a while before I come back Read more
Traditional Mexican restaurant that never disappoints. When we visit town to see our college kids, eating here together is now a... tradition. They have a delicious mix of flour and corn tortilla chips with their two types of salsa. The horchata is very good.And I haven't yet had anything on the menu I haven't enjoyed. Read more
The crispy taco special with shredded beef was the taste of the day. The beef was sad, it needed some love, pico de Gallo... helped but it just needed more. The beans were spot on but the rice.... well.. just leave it. No flavor profile. In all, iwill reccommend this place, great service, fresh food and a neat building. Please go and support them! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant in town! The only reason I’m giving 4 stars is this year it seems to be significantly... slower service than it’s ever been and we also miss the flour tortilla chips. I believe now you have to order them separately.Still my favorite Mexican restaurant and the food is always delicious! Read more
