Had a reservation at 5pm and they were open on a special occasion for a show at the Dow at 7pm. We never got our food in time... and our waitress was combative and rude by the end of our visit. She actually told us to just leave when we told her to cancelour food as we had to get to the show. I witnessed this happening to 2 other tables and non of us got our food. I understand shewas probably stressed but no one was being rude but her. I will never come back and would not recommend. Read more
Just got takeout from here and my burger was one of the best I've had in Saginaw! Delicious and perfectly cooked. I've also been... here in the past for a drink on the patio and it was great. The service is always excellent, even when they're short staffed. Read more
Wasn?t a fan. Ordered the steak, med rare came out like a blue steak. Tasted as if it was old. When they first brought it is was... a cool center, had it sent back and came back salty. Had high hopes for this place. Visiting on a work trip from out of town. 13 of us went here. Not one of us enjoyed our meals.... From salads that had more dressing than actual salad to risotto that was supposed to have bacon but didn?t, that had the lookof oatmeal and the texture of stove top stuffing (but without the seasoning or taste). After our visit I heard from a local whosaid this place is struggling and has had 4 chefs already. They might need to find a fifth. Read more
This is the actual board room of the old Saginaw News. It is a small restaurant with a nice but limited menu. The staff was... super friendly. The food was good and they had a nice bourbon selection. I enjoyed it and will be back. Read more
Came on a Saturday, right when they opened. Mid century feel. The food was amazing and they were so kind to split the sandwiches... my friend and I were sharing. The chicken sandwich was AWESOME!! Crispy but moist! The chicken on the salad was wonderfullycooked too. Burger was delicious! Anyone who comes by needs to stop and try them. I was so excited to go based on all the pictures and reviews. I don?t know if we caught them on a bad day? Ordered risotto,... chili, chicken noodle soup, lasagna and chicken tenders with fries. The only thing that made us go ?wow? was the chickentenders. I asked about a signature cocktail and was told they didn?t have one but stocked a full bar. Fair enough. But when Ilooked them up online again later there were pictures of all these really cool drinks that I would?ve loved to try. I don?tunderstand why, when I expressed an interest in specialty drinks, that something wasn?t suggested considering it looks like theymake some cool ones in online pictures. Food and drinks 5 stars. Service 3 stars. Inattentive and so slow. If you have about 2.5 hrs to spare for din (went with two... others and had entrees and two drinks each) go for it. This did not include apps or desserts. Slow. But good. Read more
